In 2021, Matt Mottel and Kevin Shea moved to Germany for a year to continue their studies and explorations after being awarded Moers Festival’s 14th annual Improvisor In Residence music scholarship. Director Eddie Bolger captured our last days in Moers in this short film… featuring footage of us playing with legends Jan Klare and Carl Ludwig Hübsch, as well as footage of the infamous Golden Rabbit, and great discussions of a carrot eating contest… Matt sums it up beautifully at the end: “In Moers you can actually get a lot of s**t done because there’s literally nothing to do.” Thanks Moers and moers festival, we love you, hope to see you again very soon… happy holidays everyone!
