Painted this for my old Program Manager. She absolutely loves Dr Suess Truffula Trees and kindly asked if I could do a painting for her. I also incorporated her into the painting, hugging a Truffula Tree to create more personality & personalisation for her.
I love the bold colours of this painting.

I recently painted a favourite photo for a friend (of him & his wife at the beach) as a birthday gift.
Corrugated tin was a challenge as it depends on the level of your eyesight as to how the proportion views. A lot of fun trying a different surface though.

With my love of the 1920’s (I am sure I was born in the wrong era of time) I have decide to compliment this painting with another I painted last year.
Last year’s painting was of a 1920’s township where I hid my signature twice within the painting (excluding the large obvious signage on the bottom left hand corner). Today’s artwork also has two hidden signatures within it.

Finally got a photo I’m happy with 😃 Hopefully Facebook image compression doesn’t reduce the quality too much, as there is so much beautiful texture in this painting.

I’m thinking since I have painted an Earth Angel painting & it’s been quite a popular unique style straight from my imagination (& my personal belief that angels do exist), why not create & paint a Water Angel too. (She actually looks even better in real life ! The video really doesn’t do her justice).

Thank you to everyone who accepted the invite to like my page 😊 I thought it would be a good idea to save saturating my personal Facebook profile with painting posts.
With the local Art Show coming up in a couple weeks, I have been dedicating time in preparation.
I completed this piece today. It was one of those paintings that took far longer than I had anticipated, but it’s done now 😄! And I do love the feeling of the bold, bright abstract representation of this landscape piece 🖼
