Dear friends, only two weeks left before the Armenian Arts&Food Festival in Alexandria, October 23-24, and we continue to introduce the performers.
Singer Kevork Artinian has won multiple awards throughout the years and travelled around the world. He has always surrounded himself by great musicians who share the same values and high standards. Kevork’s humble character touches the heart of everyone who meets him. Kevork Artinian specializes in providing a unique interpretation and blend of Armenian contemporary, traditional and “jhoghovoortagan” repertoire.
Kevork Artinian Entertainment is thrilled to join the Armenian Arts&Food Festival and will perform both on Saturday and Sunday. Don’t miss the opportunity to see him!

Dear friends, during the upcoming weeks before the Armenian Arts&Food Festival in Alexandria, October 23-24, we are introducing the performers. Marc 2Ray is a Hip Hop artist, educator, and activist. With his liniage coming from Armenian Genocide survivors and Holocaust rescuers, Marc was inspired to create songs that not only entertain, but educate and empower - what he calls "Hip Hop with a message". His song “1915”, most notably, has been performed in Times Square, outside the White House and at the March For Justice in Los Angeles. Marc 2Ray will perform on both days of the Alexandria Festival. Don’t miss the opportunity to see him!

Dear friends, during the upcoming week before the Armenian Arts&Food Festival in Alexandria, October 23-24, we will be introducing the performers. And we start today with the Shushi Armenian Dance Ensemble. Under the auspices of the Saint Vartan Cathedral in New York City, the Shushi Armenian Dance Ensemble came into existence in 1992 as a small, young cultural group that wanted to familiarize the community with Armenian history, culture and traditions. The group is named after the ancient capital city of Artsakh. Artistic director and choreographer of the Shushi Ensemble, Seta Paskalian-Kantardjian, is a recipient of the Komitas medal in recognition of her contributions to the cultural and educational life of the Armenian community in New York/New Jersey. The Shushi Armenian Dance Ensemble will perform on both days of the Alexandria Festival. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the group!
