Tomorrow at Knox at 6pm is the community opportunity to come out and voice what they would like to see happen with the new school being built! This is also an opportunity to express solutions as we discuss the best way to assist our children! Please make it a point to show up tomorrow at Knox Middle school! I’ll be there and I want to hear your concerns!
Tonight’s board meeting I could hear so much better! Special thank you to our audio tech who worked to improved the quality of sounds in the board room! Super dope!!

Everything I went through starting at the very beginning of this year lead to right now!!! It’s a beautiful Election Day! I have cried tears this morning over how much I’ve traverse through to this very day. May God be pleased with the way I’ve grown. I’ve not been perfect, but I’ve been faithful! She started this journey in 1978 with no voice and no sounds…….now in 2022 she will be a voice for the many kids who feel they have no voice! ROCO the time is now! My name is Sabrina Harris and I am running for Rowan Salisbury School board Special Seat 6
I am dedicated to helping our school board examine how we can improve SCHOOL SAFETY for our students. I want to improve how we COMMUNICATE with our parents no matter if they have always lived in Rowan county or have recently moved here. I’m dedicated to finding unique, innovative ways to help our RECRUITMENT practices and RETAIN great teachers as well as staff members. I believe we can achieve these goals by being TRANSPARENT about our needs, our strengths and our weaknesses.
I am a proud product of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools! I graduated from Garinger High School where I was what you call a G DAWG!!! I’ve lived in Rowan County for the last 10 years! I am a Proud Business owner of Vibes the Creative Arts Incubator, where I hold space for all creatives to explore their gifts and talents. I am a Mother to 5 children, with two still in our school system. I am a wife to an amazing man of God!
I am so ready to serve Rowan Salisbury school system to prepare our students to compete at a global level!
So on Oct. 20 early voting starts and Election Day is Nov. 8th!
