Good morning y’all! My surgery has been rescheduled for next week Feb 13th. My insurance didn’t want to pay for it and without insurance my surgery is $95,000👀so yea…they called me at 4pm yesterday to let me know this. Literally less than 24 hours before the surgery.

As you can imagine the build up, the emotional roller coaster I’ve been on. It took a lot to get me nerves in order to get to where I was ready(as I would be). Now I have to come back to reality to only do it again next week. I’ll try to keep y’all posted.

I’ll put all of those prayers in my savings account and withdraw them next week. 😘

I’ll be on medical leave and taking a break from braiding until I fully recover from surgery. I’ll definitely let y’all now when I reopen my books. Hopefully I won’t be down too long😘🤞🏾

I’ll be having heart surgery(Afib Ablation) , Feb 13th now.

Over the last couple of months I’ve endured gut punch after gut punch when it comes to my health. I was diagnosed with Vasavagal Syncope, which is a condition that causes you to pass out with certain triggers. I’ve passed out behind the wheel, I passed out after pulling up to Urgent Care, randomly multiple times a day. Living with this condition has been really tough at times especially since I’m such an active person.

Well recently I’ve also been diagnosed with AFib😩This condition is usually seen in older adults around the ages of 60-70. I’m of the 1% in the entire world with this condition at my age. It’s been a very scary road leading up to this surgery date as you can imagine. The surgery I’ll be having is called AFib Ablation and it’s supposed to fix both of these issues.

I’m a very private person when it comes to my personal life. Y’all usually only see funny post, my hair videos or my family and I traveling. So I felt like I could come on here and lean on my Facebook family while going through these hard times.

My husband Avohom Carpenter has been my rock y’all! He hasn’t missed a single beat. He has helped me walk, eat and has been the best chauffeur! He’s loved on me even when I didn’t know how to see the light on my dark days. He’s encouraged me, pushed me to keep fighting, allowed me space to have my moments but never let me stay there. I just want y’all to know that I am blessed with his fine ass lol😂

Anywho, with my surgery date quickly approaching, can I ask 1 thing from y’all?👀
Can I ask everyone to send me funny things to look at during the days of recovery and before surgery? I love to laugh and as you can imagine, going through this has made it a little harder to do often. That’s all I need from my Facebook family, God got the rest🥰I love y’all, and sorry for the long post lol I tried to answer all the questions that I’ve gotten lately.
