Business As Usual… 🤔
After almost 18 months when the pandemic hit the world, Covid-19 restrictions were lifted in our province last July 11 after hitting the targeted percentage of people who are fully vaccinated.
There were mixed emotions. Of course businesses are happy that they can fully operate now.
I’ve been blessed to have my own digital business where I can run from the comfort of my home the whole time that we have restrictions.
But is it really safe now?
I for one belong to those who are still undecided but I tried not to wear a mask when I went to Walmart to buy something the other day.
I felt awkward when I saw that some are still wearing masks and I’m not.😩
How about you? Do you think it is safe now not to wear a mask?

I am Maricel, happily married to my husband, Cesar, and we are blessed with two children. Our story is similar to many. We left our native land (Philippines) ten years ago to look for a greener pasture and build our future with our two children here in Canada.
We made lots of sacrifices to live the life we wanted to have. We are blessed to have good paying and decent jobs but still finding it hard to move ahead. Most of the time we’re not able to be with our kids because we needed to work even on weekends. It came to a point that because of my dedication to my work, my health suffered. I needed to prioritize my health above all so I decided to take a rest. I’m forever grateful for my family’s support when I needed to make the biggest decision in my life.
I needed a CHANGE. I realized that I don’t need to work so hard just to build others’ empire. I can work while spending more time with my family. I found it when I became a Digital Business Owner and I can’t be more thankful. My family is my biggest WHY in building this. I want a secure future for my kids as well as a planned golden years for us. We love travelling and see the world. We still have so much to accomplish together.
