Aim Elite FC are appealing to any businesses to help our grassroots team.

The club are looking to raise some funds to buy our squad a tracksuit, polo top and rain jacket for the winter months.

We fully appreciate its difficult for businesses at present to sponsor teams large amounts of money, so we decided to take a alternative route which we think will be more appealing to you.

We will be running a raffle of 40 tickets for £30 a number. Once all numbers are sold, we will do a draw and pick 3 numbers out of a hat.

1st number drawn your business logo will go on your tracksuit.
2nd will be placed on our polo top.
3rd will go our waterproof jacket.

It’s a great way to advertise your business for just £30!

Please can you spread the word and share this post.

Any donations at all will be really appreciated.

🚨Match report 🚨

Aim Elite vs Solihull Moors

Welcome back everyone!!!

Finally Aim Elite returned doing what they do best and love to do. ⚽️

It's been a very very long lay off. Our last game was 31/10/20. Since then, alot has happened within the squad. Due to covid and restrictions, we’ve had to find a new home pitch. We also lost a player to a pro club and we lost players due to injuries and illnesses.

However, for those who watched our boys performance yesterday against a good and very physically strong Solihull team, you’ve would have been extremely proud because it was like none of the above had happened.

We started the game confident and very well. We looked solid, tempo was consistent and were creative. We deservedly took the lead from a great through ball by RP10 with a absolute sublime finish from JW7. We continued to dominate key areas and win key battles. The lads then went 2-0 up from a cool & calm JW7 penalty. Unfortunately, Solihull pulled a goal back from a corner and it was 2-1 at half time. The pattern of the game continued into the 2nd half as we created chances to go further ahead, with Solihull rarely threatening our goal. We looked solid at the back, winning midfield battles and creating chances in attack.

Then with around 1 minute to go the referee decided to give Solihull an Easter present and awarded them a penalty which dumbfounded everyone including Solihulls coaches.
Unfortunately for us they scored from it and the game finished 2-2 (Which was gutting for us as we deserved maximum points.) But there were lots of positives to take from the game though.

Performance was very good especially considering it's been 5 months since our last .
There were some excellent individual performances, we played some superb football and our team play was very good at times in our passages of play.

Well done to all our lads today!! 👏

JW7 two goals.
RP 10 assist.
JP4 on man of match.

Also a mention to Naman on his debut, he's definitely got a good future ahead with us and will be a great addition to the squad.

A huge thanks to all the support today .
Happy Easter from everyone at Aim elite u13s. 🐣

Another Zoom PT session complete tonight with the Aim Elite lads and fitness instructor Luke Allcott.

All the lads throughly enjoyed yet again. Just what they need to keep them going under current restrictions. Fitness is so important to these boys and it’s been a pleasure yet again to watch the progression so far in only week 2! 💪

Thanks again Luke for taking the time tonight to train our lads. It’s much appreciated. 👌
Looking forward to many more PT sessions in the next upcoming weeks.

Tonight we held our first PT fitness session with our AIM Elite lads.
We wanted to get together as a team (it’s been sooooo long!) and keep our fitness levels up so that when we are able to get back on the pitch, we are ready to go!

It was great to see the team in their kits, training hard, sweating and with big smiles on their faces too 💙💪⚽️

Massive thanks to Luke Allcott for running the session for us this evening, the first of many! 👌

Looking forward to next week already - always a team, on and off the pitch, lockdown or no lockdown!

Game day 7

Today’s game our Aim lads were away to Kewford. We knew Kewford had started the season well and we wish them the very best for the rest of the season.

Today's weather was terrible. Very wet and very windy. Our lads needed to work extra hard today and keep the ball on the floor.

Aim started the game well with some nice passing out from back and creating a few chances. But we found ourselves 1-0 down to a freekick our keeper saved, but a kewford player acted fast when ball was dropped and scored.

Aim battled on trying to play in these tough conditions with Elliot stepping up with some good ball work to make the game 1-1

The game was very 50/50 till Aim got the 2nd goal with a good phase of play which ended with a good finish by Joe after a nice cross from Tyler.
Half time whistle blew and we believe we was back on top form.

2nd half with the wind behind us and us creating more chances, our 3rd goal came from a well taken pen by Jayden after David was taken down in the box. Aim carried on working hard and stuck to the game plan which didn't give Kewford many attacks.

Aims 4th goal eventually came from a good left footed finish by Tyler from a nice free kick by Jayden.
Aims 5th goal was from a brilliant piece of skill by Elliot and a nice calm finish to top it off.

Very pleased with the Aim lads today after tough weather conditions. Credit to our opponents, they battled till end and gave us a good game.

Today showed the togetherness coming back from 1-0 down In nasty conditions with injured players and coach coming along to support the team when they could of easily sat at home (get well soon kids and Woz) 👍⚽

Well done to today's joint MOTM Elliott and Luke well done lads

Big thank you to our host Kewford! Look forward to playing you again in the near future.

Also big thanks to our parents, your support means a lot!

Many thanks, Mark, Woz & Nel

Game Day 6
Yesterday we were away to Rugby Borough FC.
A decent side who had won 5 out of 6 games so far this season.
Thanks to Rugby for hosting us, nice coaches and a great setup.

Unfortunately game weather yesterday was terrible.
Before kick off we knew it was going to be a hard battle as very strong winds was going to play a part in our game.

This proved to be the case as we could not settle into any kind of rythm. It was definitely going to be a struggle, so it was about digging deep and just coming away with 3 points.

Elliot put us 1-0 infront with a beautiful curved shot from just inside the edge of the box.

Half time came and by just looking at our lads faces and seeing there body language told us as coaches they wasn't enjoying this game.

The 2nd half was mirror image of the 1st half scrappy and stop start.
This was until a brilliant finish from Joe C who scored with a great lob over the on rushing GK 2-0 to us.

Full time result Rugby 0- Aim 2

We always try to take positives out of every training session and matches. So on today's game we were no where near our best but we still won so still a good feeling when your not at your normal standard but still win.
Congratulations to our joint men of the match, David and Jack P.

Big thankyou to our hosts Rugby and also our parents that supported our lads in horrible conditions today also knowing we can do a lot better.

Many thanks Mark

Game Day 5
AFC dons Vs Aim Elite FC

A message from today's captain Elliot Oliver!

"Tough game today against AFC dons currently top of the league table.
Good luck to the team and thankyou as always to Energetic radio and Revenue Rich for their sponsorship".

Before this game even started we knew it was going to be a very very tough game.
Dons had played 4, won 4, scoring 33 goals and only conceding 8 plus the fact that we already knew about the quality in their squad.

Before kick off the boys seemed ready and during our warm up there was a determination in the boys eyes and a feeling that the whole team were ready for the task ahead.

After an even start we found ourselves 1-0 down.
AFC dons were having the majority of the ball but we were looking sharp on the counter attack.
We then got back to 1-1 through Jayden this was a pattern throughout the 1st half.

We had to change the way we normally try to play today, we were a bit more direct and we were getting some joy today hitting the front early.

Unfortunately we found ourselves 2-1 down then once again pulled it back to 2-2 through Elliot.

We then went ahead from Jayden's 2nd goal 3-2 to us, until a fabulous strike from a dons player meant we went into half time 3-3.

Into the 2nd half we were back playing with heart, desire and commitment that we played with in the 1st half we went 4-3 in front through Tyler only for Dons to pull it back to 4-4.

Another good counter attack by us came good as Tyler made it 5-4 to us. Final score.

We would like to thank Craig Marsh and all involved at AFC dons for hosting us today and wish them all the best for the rest of the season.

Big thankyou to all our squad today not forgetting the injured ones who came to support their team mates and once again our parents family and friends for their support.
Many thanks

Game Day 4
Today we travelled to Pershore FC
Fantastic hosts with today's game played on the main pitch with dugouts and stadium.

We started the game quite well, Pershore however started the game extremely well with a high tempo and pushing bodies very high up the pitch.

Both teams had chances early on and Pershore were the 1st to take theirs 1-0 to Pershore.
Then a great save from GK Will unfortunately for us fell to a Pershore player and we found ourselves 2-0 down.

We found ourselves scratching our heads as coaches because we wasn't playing bad we had created a few chances hitting the post and also Pershore GK having to make some very good saves.
We also lost Joseph to an injury and were thinking it may be one of those days, but then we bought it to 2-1 with a great strike from Elliot.

Into the 2nd half, we were back into our groove passing the ball well and creating chances. A free kick from Luke made it 2-2

We were now full steam ahead with our 3rd goal coming from some excellent individual skill by Elliot and the pattern continued throughout the 2nd half with great 5 pass combo’s landing at the feet of today's MOTM and hatrick hero Elliot! 4-2 to Aim now and we could of had a few more goals in what was an excellent 2nd half display.

A big thankyou to all our players today also the fantastic support from family and friends and not forgetting our hosts Pershore FC.

Today's game..
Away Vs Boldmere St Michaels a 12.30 kick off.
We knew that this fixture was going to be a difficult one based on how high Boldmere finished in the table last season (before Covid put a stop on it.)

We all arrived early and got straight into our pre match warm up.. after last week's performance we told the team collectively and individually a few home truths regarding what they needed to do better in hope we got the reaction and high standards they have set over the last 18 months.

The first half was exactly what we expected. Some good play from both teams, but after 20 minutes we found ourselves 1-0 down due to a great strike at the edge of the box. Today we started 4-4-2. We looked solid and had a few half chances but out of the blue an unlucky bounce fell to Boldmere and half time we were 2-0 down...

At half time, we told our boys to keep playing and believing because we did not deserve to be 2-0 down. We decided to switch to 3-5-2 and get higher up the pitch. We started the 2nd half on fire and got a goal back through Elliot. We then had the wind in our sails and drew level through Jayden (pen).
At this stage now we were playing very well and completely in charge. We then went 3-2 in front with Elliots 2nd goal. Boldmere came back at us, but without really testing our debutant goal keeper Will.
We then had counter attack and went 4-2 through Tyler. It was an incredible turn around but one we thoroughly deserved. Despite Boldmere scoring in the last few seconds we still went on to win 4-3.
Well done to all our Aim Elite squad today including Jacob.

Congratulations to man of the match Elliot, a big thankyou to our hosts Boldmere and a big thanks to our players, parents and family for there continued support.

Many thanks

Our 2nd game of the season away to Burbage old boys.

Firstly and most importantly, we all wish our goal keeper Jacob a speedy recovery as he broke a bone in his thumb at today's game.

Today we were taught a lesson in how to start a game. Credit to Burbage from the first whistle they were fully committed and hit us like a tornado they were first to everything and deservedly went 1-0 up.

It took us 15-20 minutes to get our act together and realise this was going to be a very tough game and if we wanted to get anything out of it we needed to react quickly..

We had a 5-10 minute spell in the 1st half where we enjoyed some possession and created 1 or 2 chances.
We didn't really need to say anything to the lads at half time as the look on the lads faces said it all.

We started the 2nd half much better and pinned burbage in there own half albeit without creating any clear cut chances but the pressure was building and we were on top at this stage.

Credit to the Burbage GK and their defence, they were very solid and we only had one clear cut chance which their GK made an excellent save.

Then our day got worse when our GK Jacob bravely came out to smother the ball and got injured.

Big thankyou to today's MOTM Jayden who had a great game and also stepped in for us. Also making a great double save as we went searching for a goal and got caught on the counter attack.

Hopefully we have learned a valuable lesson today that the game is 70 minutes not 55minutes!!!
Big thanks to our hosts Burbage and a big thanks to all the support from parents.

First game of the season done travelled away to Racing club warwick. We knew this was going to be a tough game so needed to turn up with the right attitude, credit to our Aim Elite boys they did just that..

They started the game on the front foot winning most 1st and 2nd balls, we didn't play the free flowing football that we can do, but did play some nice football on what was a small 11v11 pitch.

Today was one of those days where it was a bit stop start but we did manage to get the ball down and play at times.

Overall it was a good team performance and a good game with the Aim Elite boys coming out on top.

We worked hard high up the pitch and were defensively good for most of the game with our GK Jacob not having much to do and was also alert for any long balls that came over the top.

Last 10 minutes we got a little sloppy and let them back in the game with 2 soft goals..
Overall a very good win for Aim Elite FC
Congratulations to JP4 on his MOTM
Goals from.

Big thanks to Racing club warwick and the fantastic support from our parents.

Game 5 of pre season
Kidderminster away 11.15 ko
One of those games today. Pre match was not the best preparation, a few late arrivals including myself. People unsure where to park or where the pitch was also no proper referee, so in all honesty the boys did not get their full 30 minute warm up and gee up.
We also had a few players not 100% match fit due to illness/ injury's. In saying that though, we started very brightly and sharp, then after 5 minutes, we lost another player to a foot injury. By this time myself Mark and Nel are thinking it's going to be one of those days, but then up stepped Jack to put us 1-0 in front, this was definitely a strange day as this was Jack's 1st goal in 2 and half years!!!!!
The game played out as we thought, it was a scrappy game even though we were on top, we just could not get our passing together. Then a piece of magic from Ross came from a 25 yard free kick that flew into the top corner making us 2-0 in front.
Once again we could still not get any type of rythm going, the pitch wasn't helping it was very very bumpy.
Into half time it was 2-1 to us. Once more the first 5 minutes was very good then faded. Elliot (man of match) then hit a fine shot to put us 3-1 in front.
We then conceded a penalty!! With the score then finishing 3-2 to us.
So with pre season now out the way in which we have won 4 drew 1 we take our momentum that we have built and look forward to the 1st game of the new season.
Thankyou to our hosts Kidderminster today also thanks to our players and parents for their support.
Roll on next Saturday!!

Pre season game 4
Solihull away 6.30pm kick off
The best way to describe the way that Aim Elite played tonight was simply outstanding.
I could say we done this well, that well etc etc..but I'd be writing til midnight tonight.
From the 1st whistle we were awesome, we won 99% of 1st and 2nd balls against a very strong physical Solihull team. Our passing and movement was unbelievable. I've been involved in coaching grassroots football for nearly 5 years and I've never seen the kind of football played especially in the opponents half that I've witnessed tonight.
With a squad of only 13 players due to late withdrawals, we lost Alfie after 10 minutes due to a foot injury ( get well soon Alfie) meaning with only one sub, a lot of the players had to play the full 70 minutes on a very big pitch. But to the boys credit, fitness was not a problem tonight, our first goal from David came from some excellent play and we continued to play and create opportunities but unfortunately we were pegged back to 1-1 due to a misunderstanding. But that did not stop us going and once again with some great build up play, Ross put us back in front.
This continued into the 2nd half and Tyler then added a 3rd, I'm going to name every single player tonight that played their part in the game simply because they all deserve a mention... Well done to all the boys -Jacob, Zac, Luke, Arron, Joseph,Jack, David (motm) Ross, Jayden, Alfie, Joe, Tyler and James. The word 'team' does not get mentioned enough in football but tonight this was one hell of a performance (a coaches dream)
Also big thanks to our hosts Sollihull and to our parents that have come in right from work to bring there boys and support the TEAM tonight..
