Happy Market Morning!
Come down to the Aberdeen Sunday Market opening at 10am.

My booth will have an eclectic collection today. If you are into , , or handmade little girls , you’ll find it at my booth. The theme is everything is hand crafted! Nothing is factory run!

Well! Even on two rainy market days, y’all just about bought me out of these hanging flower baskets! More are being made and will be available at the Aberdeen Sunday Market!

Again, my entrepreneurial 6yo daughter joined me in the shop to help make more! I’m so proud of her hard work!

Prices range from $40-60 depending on size and wood.

Despite the rain, it was a wonderful day at the Aberdeen Sunday Market yesterday! Come down next week! You’ll find us there again!

Each sale turns into $2 for my daughter who helped with their creation! She says she wants to save her money up. No reason, just to learn saving. (But between you and me, I think she wants to buy presents for her friends when birthdays come around.)

My daughter has been wanting to help me make some things in the shop. So today, she helped me make some dice jails and this cute hanging basket!

This charcuterie board is a 16”x12”x 7/8” thick with a 10” handle. Solid walnut. Finished with a plant based oil and beeswax.

I’m putting the finishing touches on this donation box today.

Solid African Red Mahogany.

A new church in Elma reached out, asking me to make a donation box for them.

IN ONE DAY, this is my progress.
Started with rough-stock mahogany.
Milled it out to 3/4” boards.
Cut all the dovetail joinery.
Glued up the back panel.
Got the donation box door fit up for its lock, all the detail work, and hinge mortises. Even a first coat of oil.

I love new tools!
Got a wood burner as a gift and already put it to use!

I’m going to begin the install of some built in bookshelves today for a friend (better pictures coming soon - $2500)

Then I’ll be working on some floating shelves based off the style in the picture below. 17 of them! 😁 This will be done in partnership with a local fabricator who’s a neighbor of mine, who’s making the brackets. ($1200)

I also just landed a commission for making a donation box for a church in Elma. ($275)

As always, I’m tinkering around making things for games! I’ve had quiet a few Etsy orders lately, too.
