Today when I visit Disney, I make sure to look for Walt! Although many will argue Disney is not the same, I will encourage them that Walt’s presence is still very much alive in Disney. You just have to look through the eyes of your inner child ☺️

None of us want to see price increases! Especially on things that used to be free! And Disney Travel Agents and Planners are not benefiting on this at all! This increase only makes our job a little tougher 😥

Why is Disney raising prices yet again? I can only guess Supply and Demand. Genie+ whether we like it or not is here to stay and has been embraced by the masses. Why? Because your time and my time is valuable. If I can pay $15 (plus) to save myself from waiting 1 hour in each ride…heck yes I’m going to pay it!

Why will I continue to purchase Genie+? As I previously stated my time is valuable and Genie+ is still reasonable when compared to other theme park Express Passes…
* Universal Studios Express Pass - From $79.99/day (for 1 park, Universal Studios has multiple parks and if you’re a Harry Potter fan you’re definitely visiting 2 parks in 1 day)
*Six Flags Flash Pass - from $70/day

Perhaps the slight price increase will deter some from purchasing Genie+ and open up more Lightning Lanes for the rest of us🤷🏼‍♀️

Monday Memories🥰🥰🥰!!!
Ohana Character Breakfast at Disney’s Polynesian Resort has always been a must do on every one of our family vacations! We’re so happy the loveable characters have finally returned after 2 year hiatus! Here are my kiddos in 2012 when my girls didn’t mind dressing alike 🤣🤣🤣

I’m so impressed by Disney!!! Guests and Cast Members safety was top priority!
And to help pass the time Characters visited with guests (here you see Goofy, Max, Chip & Dale watching cartoons with kids)! Plus Cast Members provided entertainment, dance parties and crafts through out the day! The arcades were also all free!!! Thank you to Disney and the Cast Members for taking such good care of our clients, family & friends during this scary weather event!

🚨Disney just made the official announcement!🚨
Disney Parks will be closed Wednesday, 9/28 and Thursday, 9/29 due to Hurricane Ian!😢 We hate to see this happen. Families are always so excited and it’s sad when weather interrupts their dream vacations. The most important thing is safety. I pray everyone in the hurricane’s path are safe 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

A few days ago I posted about Disney Resort Activities. Here are my girls enjoying creating their very own Kukui nut leis! The best part is the Kukui nuts used have fallen directly from the tree outside the Great Ceremonial Hall! Read more about the history of Disney’s Kukui nut tree below…

The Kukui Nut Tree at Disney's Polynesian Resort…
The tree originally was brought here from its native state of Hawaii and is a rare sight in the state of Florida.

The tree, which stands tall just outside the resort’s Great Ceremonial House, plays a meaningful role in Hawaiian culture, as it is regarded as a symbol of protection and peace. For centuries, leis made of kukui nuts were considered to be prestigious and sacred, and were worn only by reigning kings of Hawaii. Later on, oil was extracted from the nuts and used as a fuel source for lamps. The oil content of these nuts also played a part in natural remedies for many physical ailments, as well as moisturizing oil for babies’ skin.

Today, Kukui nut leis are given as precious and meaningful gifts among friends. Unlike a flowered lei, a Kukui Nut lei is a gift that will last forever!
