I wrote first draft of a book few years ago, for my own children, when I was in my third pregnancy. When I spoke with my two older children about the birth, they asked me, “if we are going to give this birth together?”. I started to search for a book for children, which illustrated a natural childbirth at home. I haven’t found one. But we didn’t stop in our preparations. We wrote letters to the baby, we talked to her and we were happy waiting for her. Watching my two kids preparing for a birth of their sister, made me realize how important the preparations are for them. This is how the project and a book “ The Family Brth” started.
