Round up of some recent fabulous interiors x
At home and they may have to call the police to get me out. This embroidered tapestry is beyond words ✨
No home is perfect. The idea of a flawless interior begins and ends in an instagram post.
No home is perfect but every home should be real. And like every home, none of us is really perfect, right? But everyone can choose to be real. I guess what I mean is to make your place your home and to make beautiful you need to find your ‘ugly’ and most importantly, you need to be comfortable with it.
I find so satisfying looking at images of homes where the colour combinations are bizarre but striking, where the curtain style is outdated, where there is clutter or weird emptiness. All of this is telling a story. It’s making me look twice. It’s so intriguing. The flashy colours may be the result of an old wall and a new piece of furniture, the outdated curtain style maybe wants to just be a bit nostalgic or romantic. The clutter is just a great amount of memories. The emptiness is a jounery.
That sweet spot between the seemingly uncomfortable and the peaceful satisfaction that is self awareness and confidence. That’s unique and so precious.
Thanks for all the fabulous pics x
Finally got my hands on some wallpaper samples from a fabulous brand from Brooklyn.
I have been slightly obsessed with this glossy finish on the porcelain plates and the tile-look wallpaper you’ll see as you swap through the pics.
Even the straw backing wallpaper is abolsutely gorgeous in real life.
I am really enjoying researching new designers and I’m coming across some absolute gems. The wallpaper collection from is incredible and I hope to be able to offer it to you on our website soon.
What do you think? X
So.. is it checks or stripes??
As someone who always struggled to channel my creativity I found safety and somehow relief in a structured creative process.
Too much freedom can be daunting for someone like me who has ideas but finds the ex*****on challenging.
offers a guided (yet freeing) creative process that lands on a unique design. You made it, it’s only yours. It’s bespoke.
The steps are easy:
1: pick your colours
2: pick the size of your stripe/check - and this is it if you want wallpaper!
3: pick the type of fabric amongst a choice of sustainable textiles.
While we get our website ready to enable you to play and create, we are publishing new designs from existing jobs every day on our website to inspire you.
And for those not interested in the creative process (we see you, this is a safe space for you too!) a wide choice of existing combinations to pick from.
DM with any question. We really love to talk stripes these days 🌈
I just found a new happy place in London to find inspiration. Thanks Louisa for having me 2 days in a row (and possibly a few more times over the weekend..!) in your fabulous shop on Hackney road. It’s also so good to be back to my old neck of the wood!

A designer who never ceases to excite and amaze with her endless creativity and taste.
Some favorite wallpaper and textiles as used by talented .nd.interior in her gorgeous projects. Enjoy xx
To some, this may look rather unglamorous.
A wallpaper warehouse is usually made of long corridors filled with rolls stacked on infinite raws on rather tall shelves structures. It’s dusty. It’s dark. It’s quiet, most of the times.
This dark and dusty place is for me a place of the heart. It brings up memories of my childhood where I would play hide-and-seek with my brother along those corridors after school. Where, on the large table at the entrance, we would always find some homemade treats brought by this lovely lady who worked there back in the ‘80s (she also used to make the best ice tea I have ever tasted to date). Memories of my grandparents asking for our help to find the rolls some clients had just bought in the store.
As sometimes I return to this space for work, I find myself a little nostalgic but always with a smile thinking of how lucky I am to treasure those memories. ♥️

The shells on the walls were sourced from the Venetian seas and carefully selected before being hand glued to the wall by Barnaba, Piero’s son. A glorious chandelier was then made by Piero’s wife, Giulia to complete the dinining room.
This elegant and creative design inspired later on the wallpaper Conchiglie, that replicates the motiv and adds some light with a metalllic finish on the shells.
