In my experience, wishing to shape shift, see a certain number on the scale, trying to follow pre-made plans, restricting my eating, and trying to be a perfectionist did nothing but increase my cortisol, hurt my mental health, and damaged my metabolism.

I know it’s so tempting to have someone write out all of your meals and to give yourself to be 100% on a diet. But it is SO RARE that the progress made doing this actually sticks. Plus, this dieting behavior has a high risk of affecting your metabolism and causing eat*ng d*sord*r tendencies.

The good news is, there is a better way! Once you find the sweet spot of discipline, consistency, and actually sustainable eating patterns I promise you will never go back to a strict diet again!

If you are hung up on which foods are right to eat for your goals, I get it. It can be confusing! Should you do no carbs, count your macros, do the paleo diet?! Which bread is good? Which yogurt is bad?! It can be so overwhelming sometimes!

If this is you, let’s connect! My mission is to teach you a simple and sustainable way to eat so that you can fuel your body to give it what it’s craving for optimal hormone health.

Here are a few easy tips to help you get started on adopting simpler nutrition habits:

🥬 Utilize foods that are minimally processed like fresh fruits, veggies, and meats

🥬 Learn how to utilize seasoning. The same base ingredients can work in a Thai curry that also work in a Mexican- style stir fry or an Asian-inspired rice bowl as long as you know how to season.

🥬 Avoid foods that are especially altered to be healthy. When people DM me to ask about a special carb-free bread or a sugar free pudding, my answer is almost always to find a less processed, more natural version of what you are looking for. It might seem counter-intuitive, but the full fat/ natural sugar/ whole grain options are almost always better for hormones than the extra expensive “health” foods.

🥬 Try one or two new recipes a week! It can be daunting to change your whole way of eating- so just take a step at a time.

🥬 If cooking is too time-consuming, try prepping your meats and grains at the beginning of the week. Bake a tray of chicken, do a skillet of beef, make a pot of rice, and pop some overnight oats in the fridge. Now all you have to do is add the fresh produce to your meals because the hard part is done!

Affirmations are POWERFUL tools for allowing your mind to convince your body it is safe.

When your body feels safe, it exits survival mode. When you aren’t in survival mode, cortisol and other stress hormones can return to a normal balance.

When this happens you sleep better, have less cravings, reduce bloating, feel better mentally, have an increase in libido, and can even lose weight more easily.

Why? Because about 5 years ago I found myself bouncing from specialist to specialist, and searching social media, trying to solve my health problems ranging from inflammation to exhaustion to weight gain. Once I finally found the answers, I went to college to study the Science of Wellness.

Bloating can be SO annoying. Besides feeling like your pants size is unpredictable day-to-day, it can be uncomfortable and distract you from being present.

One of the number one things I hear as feedback from my clients is that their bloating went down after doing one of my programs!

I experienced the same thing years ago when I was at my lowest. Now, I know exactly how to prevent it and address it when it happens.

Real talk- I have to use this affirmation daily, and here’s why:

I grew up confusing my worth with my looks…. And just when I felt I had truly overcome that, I started weight loss coaching. Those feelings would creep in a little, but it was easy to remember that looks aren’t everything.

Now, face-to-face coaching has turned into teaching on social media and it is SO HARD to not compare myself. Sometimes it’s hard to show up at all! There are some seriously impressive women on here that have put massive amounts of time and energy into their bodies and I find myself wondering if I even belong here.

Sometimes I feel like a fraud for teaching wellness online but not having a 6 pack. But you know what makes me a fraud? Thinking I need a 6 pack to teach wellness!

I’m NOT teaching you to walk in a bikini show… I AM teaching you to be holistically healthy!

I’m teaching you how to have habits that last longer than a 6 week program, to move because you WANT to, and eat to FEEL BETTER.

I’m teaching you to love yourself enough to take care of yourself, and to take care of yourself without selling your mind and body to the pressures of the fitness industry.

I am teaching minimalistic, sustainable wellness… which has very little to do with a certain “look”.

The relationships I’m building, the changes we are making, and the conversations we are having hold so much more weight than a number on the scale.

My desire to help others with the knowledge I have transcends far beyond my body— and I could say the same thing for you about your unique gifts and talents! 💕

So, if you are constantly comparing yourself or letting your worth be determined by your looks then repeat after me: I AM MORE THAN JUST A BODY. 🫶🏼

This client started just over a week ago and WOW the progress! She is on the self-guided program and has taken complete ownership over her new habits.

How would you feel if you woke up next week without bloating? How about 3 pounds lighter?

I should note, her results came on quick and for some there is an adjustment period (1-3 weeks) before the body surrenders to weight loss. But no matter who you are, if you are diligent in sticking to the plan, the results do come! 🙌🏻

✨Anyone say rebrand? ✨

Helping people with wellness and weight loss happened to me very organically. People would hear about my unique major, see my transformation, or see my dad’s amazing glow up (I helped him lose 30 lbs in 2019 and he has kept it off!) and they would come to me for guidance.

I knew I needed an LLC to protect me and to operate under, but I wanted to hide behind a brand name instead of using my own. So one random day during covid I searched for an LLC name that wasn’t taken and I landed on WholeSol in less than an hour.

Hiding behind a brand name, I was also adamant that I would never market on social media! It gave ~cringe~ vibes and I did not want to put myself out there for scrutiny.

However, the few times that I did post about my services I would get an overwhelming response of people who needed my help…from there I knew what I had to do.

Now, here I am doing TERRIBLY cringe trends and making a FOOL of my self on social media all to find more people who need my help. So I figured it was time to go all the way and stop hiding behind a brand name.

I’m planning to help lots more people in the coming months and years, and as my tiny business continues to grow I am excited to have a brand that is more authentic to ME.

While WholeSol served a great purpose, it was a mouthful and felt limiting. I’m no longer afraid to show my name or my face because I know how much it helps people. I’m here for no other reason than to find people who are frustrated with weight loss and to teach them my research-supported method of sustainable weight loss and science-backed wellness lifestyle.
