It's getting that time of year to start getting my tackle ready so I custom painted a few Fire-Tiger pattern lures. I plan on doing some baby bass and crappie pattern jerk baits in the very near future. My shop is still out of commission so can't really make any wooden lures right now so just custom painting some plastic blank bodies to start the season off.

I’ve been a little absent from the page lately but have been working on diving lure prototypes… I’ve made some that worked, some that sorta worked, and a few that just didn’t perform right at all. Anyway… here’s one that I made yesterday and will need to test soon to see how it swims and may need to add belly weight to it. If it works then thinking a crawfish pattern would look good.
Great review of this kayak. Thanks JB Outdoors and Neil!

Matt my son-in-law and partner in the lure making is taking over the spinner bait building for us while I concentrate on the top water and diving baits.
In order to finish the baits better we're getting an air brush spray booth... hopefully will receive it this weekend. I am looking forward to it as I will be able to see much better with the led lights and the fumes from painting will be properly vented away from me.
I also had an order recently for a friend that wanted some of our big mouth bone lures made with his companies logo on them.
Here are some more custom painted lures that I've done recently. I've been out due to the Covid-19 thing but feeling better and ready to get back to building and painting lures.
These two custom lures were contributed to a Fishing Tournament for Breast Cancer Awareness that will be held at Lake Sinclair at the last part of this month. Very glad to be able to do these guys for them and think they turned out pretty good as I haven't really done a lot of lures in pink before.
Here are pics of some keeper Bass we caught on Lake Juliette last Friday. Most of these were caught on a repaint of an old jerk bait I did that I almost repainted because I didn’t really like the way it turned out... glad I didn’t! The fish seemed to like it just fine.
Lures we've either made, referbished, or custom painted and finished.
This is a really good reference if you're looking at fishing the Ocmulgee River.

I finished these four lures this weekend. A large Torpedo, a small Torpedo, a Spook, and a thicker Devil Horse. Thinking these 4 type of lures will be in my line up along with a couple big mouth poppers. The video is a bit shaky as I just used my phone.
Got my next batch turned and primed for paint on my new drying rack. Experimenting with different body types. Want to dial in on about 5-6 different bodies only.
Third Batch of Top Water Lures made. These 4 are the first dipped in my new clear coat.
This is a video of something that I've been working on for the past few months. I've always wanted to build Top Water Lures and have recently learned how to turn them on a wood lathe. I'm also learning a great deal about finsihing them. We will be selling these as soon as I have the process down better and have an air brush for painting them with. Hope you enjoy the little introduction.
Our Company
I grew up fishing with my Dad and it’s where I feel closest to him, so whenever I get the chance I just enjoy being outdoors fishing. Of course, it’s always better when I can actually catch fish. I discovered the red tail in-line spinner baits and old school top water lures I once used growing up, almost impossible to find in any local stores and forget about quality . I decided to start making in-line spinner baits and later, top water lures. We turn our top water lure bodies on a wood lathe from eastern red cedar and hand finish each lure. We have also recently started custom painting diving lures. This is a family owned and operated business. My son-in-law and I will be handcrafting and finishing these unique lures together. I hope you try one out and are as satisfied as I am with them. Thanks in advance for supporting American made!
Go Fish!
