Having more and more of something that will make you happy is a Lie!!
Endless Happiness Fallacy
• The idea that having more and more leads to continuous happiness is a misconception.
• Neuroscientific research challenges this belief, revealing that constant accumulation doesn't guarantee lasting joy.
Hedonic Adaptation
• Our brains adapt to new stimuli and rewards over time, known as hedonic adaptation.
• This adaptation diminishes the initial happiness derived from acquiring something new or achieving a goal.
• As a result, we become accustomed to the new state and seek more to recreate that fleeting feeling of happiness.
Short-lived Happiness
• The pleasure derived from material possessions or achievements is often short-lived.
• While it may provide temporary satisfaction, it doesn't sustain lasting happiness.
• The continuous pursuit of more can lead to a sense of emptiness and dissatisfaction.
Meaningful Experiences and Connections
• Lasting joy comes from engaging in meaningful experiences rather than amassing possessions.
• Building strong connections with others and fostering positive relationships contribute significantly to happiness.
• Participating in activities aligned with our values and passions brings a deeper sense of fulfilment.
Balanced Approach
• Happiness is better achieved through a balanced approach to life.
• While accomplishments and material comforts have their place, they should not be the sole focus.
• Prioritizing meaningful experiences, personal growth, and well-being is essential for genuine and lasting happiness.

Menopause and brain
Menopause is inevitable for every woman. There are stages of menopause
1.premenopause
2. perimenopause
3. Menopause
4. post menopause.
Generally, Pre-menopause starts at the age of 40 and perimenopause starts at the age of 45 and menopause at the age of 50 yrs. So, from Pre-menopause to menopause the journey is about 10 yrs. i.e. a decade. Women goes through lot of symptoms like Anxiety, mood swing, depression, loneliness, hot flushes, bladder control, insomnia, brain fog, mental fatigue, and very important is forgetfulness.
Women health is brain health. Better the brain brilliant is the life. We all consider and understand that menopause is related to reproductive systems but all these things start in the Brain. Our brain changes continuously in size and shape throughout our lives. For women, we always associate the changes occur in the body and not in the brain function especially when she enters premenopausal state.
We all associate menopause with the ovaries. But when women complaints that she is having hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, memory lapses, depression, anxiety, those symptoms don't start in the ovaries. Where does it start? All in the brain.
Brain cannot be considered as an isolated organ from the rest of the body. Though it is situated in the top of the crown it communicates through the help of Estrogen produced in the o***y. As women enter in to Pre-menopause these Estrogen levels starts dropping down and brain cannot communicate effectively and thus brains energy drops down.
This is really important because the way the brain ages depends on the health of the reproductive system in women. And the hormones play a big role in the brain function. This connection of brain and reproductive system has been really overlooked for decades, probably centuries.
