Trust me when I tell you- it’s a miracle she has a jacket on so thank god she loves this one she got from her cousin- she wore it everyday last week 😂👌🏼

I don’t know many people who wear crop tops and short shorts in winter but the fact she has clothes on in the morning is a win in my book 🙌🏼👙❄️

It’s the little moments like these, snapped by the side of the road on our way into daycare for Mother’s Day breakfast that make it all worthwhile 🙏🏼

Another grand final win for X’s mighty little team who play together across football, Oz tag, touch and soccer! What a blessed life they live guided by the best parents, coaching team, friends and family who cheer them on and encourage them to get better every single week!

Not to mention the mums and their wines (essential really!)

X’s first athletics carnival and we were all there to cheer him on!!! We’d just prior been to an ‘athletics carnival’ of our own when we decided to take the girls to the shops and let them ‘free roam’…. It ended with them splitting up and taking on the travelators separately- with me and trying to chase them up and down and some kind lady manning one end while we rounded them up like sheep- not quite successful. Especially if you count the emergency pants and underwear we had to purchase x4 🤯🤯🤯🤯 and that was BEFORE the actual carnival!

But back to X- what a day he had- what a great little school he goes to with all the parents cheering everyone on! Such beautiful memories with so many more years to come 💙💙💙💙

Still playing catch ups on the posts - Xavier started Kindy!!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

A few nerves some mornings but otherwise killing it and we are so proud of him! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I will say sport days are definitely the fav only to be challenged by lunch order day (I mean if I got sushi at school too how amazing!)

Have been absolutely terrible about posting lately and sharing what we’ve been up to but here is the girls second swimming lesson earlier this week!!!!

All I can say is bloody brilliant bunch of support staff to get them physically detached from my body and into the water! Two of the women nearly ended up in the water getting Airlie in alone!

But as you can see it was all worth if for the snakes and smiles at the end 😂😂😂

I will just add- the first week was much the same although when Paloma finally got in she dove off the edge and literally head down-bum up- swam straight past the instructor we were all in shock! Airlie thought she’d try the same and the word ‘sank’ comes to mind!

These are the blessed days right! 💗💗💗

We’ve been trying to enjoy these past few weeks with Xavier before he goes to big school this week- lots of little dates to reconnect after feeling very detached from him for so long once the girls came along… (mum guilt right there!)

We have talked about all the important things in life like
- what do you want to be when you grow up: Spider-Man
- what does Spider-Man do when he’s not Spider-Man?
- where does Spider-Man get his suits?
- who’s faster- sonic or Spider-Man?

I’m so excited for this week for you X- nervous but excited! Bring on Kindy!!! 😭🙌🏼🍷

Because finding these snaps I took quickly yesterday whilst completely out of frame- are beyond the cutest thing I ever could have dreamed of… we now take handbags to parties (because we go to so many!) 😂💗🦄🌈

We are so fortunate to be sharing our story as part of the HEART FOR HER LAUNCH QR Storytelling Art Series.

I cannot tell you of the anxiety, stress, tears and fears that come with being told you are pregnant with triplets and that (of course) its a high risk pregnancy. I don’t think much of that I portrayed outwardley here on social media at the time as I actually experienced a relatively healthy pregnancy with the girls. It was the mental aspect that took a toll and something very hard to put into words. Going in fortnightly then weekly to have scans (that could take hours)- thinking that once you reached that fortnightly milestone you would be ‘ok’ only to be told ‘the next two weeks are very important due to x,y and z. We never ever relaxed and it wasn’t until all babes were born did we think, we get to keep our babies. It was something we were told- until the very end- nothing is promised here…

BUT… if it weren’t for taking us through every step of the way, I honestly don’t think I would have made it. One such memorable thing that happened was a tour of the NICU ward prior to the girls being born. We were so unbelievably lucky to have been afforded that experience in preparation of what was to come. Most parents in there have no prior warning this is where they will end up sometimes with the sickest of little fighters but with the most amazing of staff on hand 24/7 to nurse these babies to health. To be prepared for the inevitable, we always knew that’s where they were going to go straight after birth, was something I’m eternally grateful they even thought to coordinate for us. I can’t imagine the trauma some parents feel, often for months, without any fore warning. Some of the stories have to be read/ heard to be believed…

I had to laugh- this is EXACTLY our family dynamic… Ruby standing staunch but still ‘precious’ off to the side. Airlie forlorn- holding onto her mummy and her blankie! X super serious and pondering how he was going to end up in a newspaper just like Peter Parker (aka Spider-Man!) and Paloma… the biggest punish of the day- wouldn’t do a thing she was asked- absolute ratbag- tears and all- comes off looking roses!
