Campaign update.

One of my favorite questions to ask Ogden residents and business owners is their vision for our city. If Ogden did everything “right,” what would it look like in 10-20 years? The answers are so wonderful to hear.

Some themes that have come up: Ogden will be a place where working families can afford to live, and will be a city that prioritizes local business over big chains. It will be a place where creativity is celebrated, where public art is paramount, and where community gathering spaces are plentiful.

What is *your* vision for Ogden?

When we knock doors, if someone is unavailable to chat, we’ll (me and the campaign team) leave a flyer for them to read later. This weekend after canvassing I got a call from a voter who’d received a flyer. He told me he loved my priorities and was supporting my campaign, and we had a good conversation about his concerns and also what he loves about our city. I followed up with an ask to put a sign in his yard, and he said yes!

Regardless of what happens during the elections, it is a true joy to hear from our neighbors about their hopes and dreams for Ogden.

Day one of door knocking in the books! Today we knocked around 100 doors and had the honor of hearing from our neighbors about their concerns, hopes, and dreams for our city. I had my helpers assist with carrying my flyers and charming people at the doors. Can’t wait to do it again next week! Be sure to send me a DM if you want to help out.

This was a week of celebration! On Thursday we attended the kindergarten graduation ceremony for my youngest son who attends public school here in Ogden, and later that evening I was honored to celebrate the graduation of the largest graduating class from George Washington High School! So proud of all Ogden’s kids today 👏👏👏

From kindergarten through college, all Ogden’s kids deserve a good education, a support system, and a city that provides them the opportunity to live safe and resilient lives.

Proud and grateful to have the endorsement of ! Cleaning the air, preserving green space, and prioritizing clean infrastructure are big priorities for this campaign, and I’m happy to have the support and knowledge of the experts.

My two boys and the kids they share classrooms and sports fields with are a big part of why I’m running for Ogden City Council. We have a responsibility to future generations to leave our communities better than we found them, and that means we have to show up and do the work to make it happen—even if the kids photo bomb and tackle us while we’re doing it.
