Sutton doesn’t keep much in her little Prada bag (though she does overpack for trips) but she does have Shaw’s Lamborghini keys🤭

Dahlia is always going to have her kindle on her. Jasmine will have convinced her to get a funky trendy bag, which she will only use if it can hold said kindle. And a protein bar for Levi in case she finds out he hasn’t eaten enough!

Lottie of course has everything pink. Grace needs multiple book options at all times (she definitely has audiobooks downloaded on her phone). Zara has a bunch of chapsticks on her because well, if you know you know🤣and of course MJ has to have lavender oil for any stressful situations🫶🏻

TWO DAYS!!! I can’t believe it😍

I have a lot of anticipation and a dash of anxiety🤣🩵but mostly I’m just ready to have this in your hands!

I haven’t done a in a while so I figured to celebrate release week I’d share a couple songs that were on repeat for The Golden Goal!

Music plays a huge role in my writing process. I listen to my book playlists while driving and doing chores and it acts as a soundtrack to the scenes in my head!

Shameless was one that got played over and over and over haha. It suits Sutton and Shaw so much! But Crowded Room also got a lot of play time. I love the whole song, but the rap section where he says “I turn every chair that you sit in to a throne” is so Shaw coded it makes me smile every time I hear it.

A year in the life🫶🏻

This year has been a whirlwind of amazingness!

Four books and one novella out this year, plus an audiobook 🤩and the announcement of my new sports series.

I got to meet amazing people both in person and online, get my dream car, and travel to places I’ve never been!

While this year wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, God blessed me a whole lot even in the valleys. He’s a God who comforts in the darkness and pain, comforts while you’re a seed in the ground. Then celebrates once you’re a beautiful flower basking in the light.

I’ve felt the pain of growing and the beauty of blooming this year to be sure.

Thank you to everyone who made this year what it is🫶🏻my readers and friends you’re all so lovely! I can’t believe this is my life. I look around and I’m in awe.

Let’s get the most important thing out of the way: my reading slump is OVER🙌🏻

Why? Well one, I finished my manuscript🤣but two, I read Of Tangles and Tinsel by and I had a hit of that five star read feeling😍🫠

I cannot convey how much I loved this book. I stayed up until one in the morning. My eyes were burning but I didn’t sleep until I finished it. I kicked my feet, giggled, squealed into my pillow (see pictured quote) and even cried a little. I wish I could erase my memory and start it all over again, which is how you know it was really good.

Now, in my desperate attempt to chase that high, I’m reading Divine Rivals as recommended by but instead of a cozy fun read I am SOBBING and I’m only 28% through it. But I’m also hooked so…there’s that.

I’ve also already started writing again because I don’t know the concept of taking a break🤣
