WELCOME!!

Welcome ASU MSE graduate students!

First of all, I would like to congratulate all of the new students on your acceptance into either the PhD or Master’s program here at Arizona State University. If you are a prospective student I hope you find this page helpful and informative towards your choice of graduate programs.

As new member of the School for Engineering of Matter Transport and Energy (SEMTE) community I know it can be challenging to get the lay of the land, especially with our busy schedules. The “New American University” which ASU has adopted dissolved all departments into “Schools”. Unfortunately, this seemed to dissolve the sense of community which previously existed. In an effort to recreate a strong community at ASU, the Graduate Student Circle was formed. This page will inform all graduate students of weekly events and meetups, opportunities to get involved in community outreach, mentoring undergraduates, professional development and much more.

I hope to see you at our meetings and look forward to your involvement in our graduate community.
