In view of the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil and in rest of the world, the Organizing Committee of ICR 2020, in agreement with the officers of the International Committee on Rheology, understood that it would be impossible to hold the ICR 2020 in person, as previously planned.
A first attempt to accommodate the pandemic effects was made when we postponed the event to December 2020. However, uncertainties remain, and in view of this rather unusual situation we realized that the only safe decision to make is to change to the virtual format. International Congress on Rheology: ICR 2020 in Rio, August 2020. New early registration deadline is April 10, 2020. The acceptance for the oral abstract submission will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding authors by next week.
