BSHM Department won second place in Parol Making Contest (College Category)during Year-End Christmas Party Celebration last December 20, 2022. The parol was made up of recycled materials including newspapers and plastics was designed and conceptualized by the BSHM 2 Students. Congratulations!

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management students of La Consolacion College Isabela accomplished the first ever 2 day and 1-night post-pandemic Industry Immersion and Seminar Activities, the objective of the event is to expose students to actual practices, and standards applied in hotel and restaurant operations concurrently with the help of different industry partners.
Day 1: The students attended an actual front office and housekeeping operations demo session demonstrated by the Royal Am Rei Hotel Bacolod staff from two different hotel departments. Afterward, they have their buffet lunch experience at Cabalen Restaurant-SM City Bacolod.
Day 2: A master class seminar on Professional Personality Development was discussed by Mr. Noli B. Diaz Jr. an expert on how Professional development involves developing yourself in your function to completely understand the job you do and how you can improve as a person in ethical and take care of yourself as a professional. Partly, Event Management is the second topic talked over by Mr. Abudio H. Serfino III, an event organizer. He tackled his work experiences with students, sharing the promising event that he organized and some tips, on improving the event into optimal outcomes.

The La Consolacion College Isabela successfully conducted the Workshop on Intensive Training on Basic English Skills for incoming fourth-year college students. This enhancement activity was highlighted to reinforce the English communication skills of the students in Pronunciation, Technical Writing and Public Speaking. The training was executed with a culmination activity which included a mock interview, impromptu speaking, and poem interpretation.
Mr. Eduard Lutao, MaEd, MPM rendered a knowledge-sharing activity with students as one of their trainers during their Intensive Training on Basic English Skills and was joined by Miss Christine Awacay, LPT, another English Teacher, and a Junior High School Coordinator of LCC Isabela.

The Intensive Training on Basic Engish Skills Workshop will be held from July 18 to 22, 2022 for incoming BSHM 4th -year students. The 1-week enhancement workshop program includes pronunciation, interpersonal communication skills structuring sentences, and paragraph writing.

Happy 124th Independence Day!
The BS in Hospitality Management 2nd year Students of LCC Isabela administered the virtual seminar event which was participated by the BSHM-1 students. The topic focused on The Latest Impact of Trends and Innovation in the Hospitality Industry.
The webinar was emphasized by one of the hospitality practitioners Miss Catherine Joy Pugao a Front Office Attendant at one of the hotels in Bacolod City. The objective of the webinar was to give an understanding and knowledge of how the industry is thriving using those trends and innovations amidst pandemic and some issues regarding the minimum health protocols in the workplace.
The BS in Hospitality Management Department of LCC Isabela joined the 2nd ASAS Tourism and Hospitality Skills Fest 2022 and was participated by all La Consolacion Colleges Nationwide held on May 16 and 17,2022. ATHSF showcases the skills and talents of students in different categories.

The LCC Isabela BSHM 2nd year students effectively conducted the Advancement Webinar that Discovering the Narratives of Isabela. The virtual seminar emphasized to Broaden the Perspective of HM Students on Sustainable Tourism Initiatives and Practices and be introduced to the local tourism of Isabela that was joined by BSHM 1st year students of La Consolacion College Isabela, Negros Occidental.
The webinar was highlighted by one of the fellow Isabeleños that contributed knowledge and expertise in the local tourism in Isabela.
Mr. Francis Ryan B. Pabiania, a member of the Local Culture and Arts Council under with Isabela Tourism Office for sharing his ideas and experiences in Tourism Development. He answered various questions focusing on Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in endurable tourism.

A very warmest congratulations to our finalist Angelica O. Lumauag for gratefully joining last December 2021, the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines- Negros Island and Siquijor Chapter held the 1st COHREP-NISC Hospitality and Tourism Virtual Skills Competition 2021, which competed with different schools in Negros Island and Siquijor.
