Four (4) lucky vehicles will be chosen for a free car surface care demonstration by our friends at Meguiar's. All attendees will earn one (1) HCP GEB point from this event.

We will still practice minimum health protocols like face mask wearing and social distancing.

Dear friends, colleagues and readers:

BOTCHI SANTOS needs our prayers and help. He suddenly collapsed and was rushed to Cardinal Santos on February 1 due to heavy internal bleeding. He has been battling chronic kidney disease, and it has caused a host of other problems in his body. He’s currently in the ICU after an emergency endoscopy to stop the bleeding, but he needs more blood donations.

We humbly seek any donors of O+ blood type. Blood bank is at Cardinal Santos, ground floor.

Some requirements for blood donations: COVID-free for at least 1 month, at least 50kg in weight, and no symptoms of cough or flu. We need 6 bags of blood type O+.

Please specify that it’s for FITZGERALD SANTOS. You may go straight to the blood bank section at the ground floor laboratory. The blood bank is open from 7am to 7pm.

The HJCP or we call Honda Jazz Club of the Philippines held a meet on first quarter of 2015 held at Bridgestone Alabang called Fitfest 2015. A gathering of 3 generations of Honda Jazz namely Initial GD for First gen, GE garage for second generation and GK Nation for third generation. HJCP is a subgroup of Honda Club of the Philippines.

350 Hondas in attendance aside from Honda Jazz with different subgroups of Honda Club of the Philippines like Tropang EG (5thgen Civic), EK Elites (6thgen Civic), Club7thgen (7thgen Civic), TeamFD (8thgen Civic), CivicIX (9thgen Civic), Honda CRV Philippines, Accord Tuner PH, Integra Boys PH, and HCCP (Honda City Club PH). Also with the well known car community in the Philippines, JDMUndergroundPH.

Special guests were there like Ms. Valerie Bangs Garcia, Hirasaki Murakami of J's Racing Japan. And it was hosted by Lovely Ortiz and Chanel Aldabla. Models were there like Ms. Kim Domingo.

Fitfest was supported by Bridgestone, Motul, Honda Cars Alabang, J's Racing, Autoperformance, Sabelt, Brembo, C! Magazine, Autoindustriya, Hurricane air filters, Autojunction, JDM Select, Stage21, JDMEchanics, Kilometer Two and Pioneer.

Honda Canada president and CEO Jean Marc Leclerc confirmed the good news during a media roundtable which The Car Guide attended on Wednesday.
The new 2023 Honda CR-V should be unveiled shortly and will go on sale this summer. The Alliston factory in Canada will start by producing gas-powered models before adding hybrids. There will be a gradual ramp up, Leclerc said. **Photo is 2022 CRV
