SAM for XP12: Latest version 3.1.9 is generally compatible however we would like to call it "experimental" for now. A few features are not working properly yet. As XP12 uses new APIs and dropped a few old ones we need to find ways to adapt to it. Stay tuned for more updates!

It has been quiet in the past weeks - for a good reason: We're working on a new SAM extension: SAM GroundService.

All core functionalities are implemented as well as the first set of vehicles. Now it's about to create more variety by adding more regional vehicle sets with the help of our partner ShortFinal Design and configuring all aircrafts (a ton of work).

There is no official feature list yet but here is what you can expect:
- Custom animated groundservice vehicles
- Can be used at all airports
- Is compatible with any SAM-driven jetway including WorldJetways
- Vehicles have extended driving logic including collision protection, backup driving and cart trains
- Vehicles will control aircraft doors if the aircraft allows it
- Loading and unloading process will be handled automatically
- Proper UI to set up all loading services (time depends on amount of load)
- Simbrief weights can be imported
- Loading affects aircraft weight in real time (instant loading available as well)

- New: Windows ContentManager now supports manual typing on activation forms
- Fix: JARDesign A340 unable to connect to jetways
- Fix: Manual library link mode CTD at sim startup when a custom scenery folder that is listed in the scenery_packs.ini is removed
- Fix: Clipping animation on FMT_1 VDGS objects
- Change/Fix: Jetway external power influence on ground power availability dataref is now a one-shot event, this fixes strange noises that happen on some aircraft

It's impressive how much detail we can put in the ground textures in XP 🤩

SAM 3.0.6 will be available by today via all channels.

Changelog:
- Critical fix: Possible CTD that may happen when the user requests an AuthoringTool marker instance before it's loaded
- New: Implemented email & serial paste buttons on the in-game Content Manager screen to help with user activations
- Fix: VDGS not working in some situation
- Fix: Activating debugging mode on macOS Metal disrupts rendering permanently
- Fix: SAM3 Jetway AutoConfig behavior, see below for the details
- Fix: Ground power being forced to off when the aircraft parks at a ramp that has no jetway

Our cooperation with FSS will soon give us a great recreation of EDDS Stuttgart in X-Plane. Here are some previews.
