Hi Everybody,
I am Sabrina and welcome to my page âa cup of Kindnessâ.
Why this page and why now?
As in this period of Covid-19 outbreak anxiety and stress are increasing, due to a wide spread sense of uncertainty, I thought of some ways of offering my help to my neighbour and to everybody. Hence I am opening to everybody and absolutely for FREE the guided meditation sessions I run every Thursday at 6:45pm via Zoom. Everybody from any religious or non religious background can attend and they are also open to children (with their parents).

I am a spiritual person, however, though, being Italian by birth, I was raised as a Catholic, I do not follow any standarised religions. I am fascinated and a scholar of the Buddhist Philosophy and I specifically follow the Mahayana Zen tradition of âEngaged Buddhismâ initiated by the Vietnamese Buddhist monk, poet and human rights activist Thich Nhat Hanh, who was a pioneer in bringing Mindfulness to the West.
I studied Archaeology c/o Oxford University, Department of Continuing Education.
I am a certified and insured Reiki Practitioner and Reiki Science Practitioner, about to embark in the Master Reiki c/o the Reiki London Academy.
I have successfully undertaken Mindfulness Diplomas and I study meditation and Mindfulness.
I am married and I work in finance sector. I am an active member of my work internal group MIND, for mental health. I am an environmental activist, a huge animal lover and both my husband and I are vegan.
What is mindfulness, meditation and Reiki in a nutshell.
Mindfulness is the practice of cultivating conscious awareness of our thoughts, feelings and environment, in every moment, without judging the experience. Mindfulness is non judgemental awareness.
Meditation is a practical tool with which we can observe inner and outer experience with compassion, acceptance and neutrality.
For who is not familiar with Reiki, Reiki is a complementary Japanese healing therapy, based on the flow of the universal energy through the hands of the practitioner to the client.
