Have been messing around with acrylic paints, i usually paint with watercolours, but a change is as good as a rest, as they say….I just love the fact I can use different implements to paint with other than a brush. ( plus you can cover up your mistakes with more paint) 😁Hope you like my red squirrels 🧡 Have a good weekend

Exhibition of my artwork and Grandsons abstract artwork 🖼️🎨

Paintings are there until the beginning of April 2024

So I’ve joined our local Graphite art group ✏️ the difference with this group is we are given homework and meet up every 2 weeks ( in the pub 🍷) to share our pictures and discuss. And gosh there are some talented people. The first subject was titled ‘ Christmas’ and last weeks was ‘glass’

Abstract watercolour paintings done by our grandson and I did the ink line work, they are all ready to be exhibited at from friday 12 Jan- wed 3 April #👍

Had a lovely painting afternoon with our grandson the other day. Saw this effect by and thought we’d have a go, who would have thought you could draw with marbles! Love the effect, it’s not all about painting with a brush 🧹

Our last Christmas fair of 2023🎄Saturday 16 December at Church house, Bingley, Bingley Parish Church , not just the Christmas fair to browse around but the Christmas tree festival in the Church.

Had to do a bit of artistic license to the bee metal sign Mr C bought as it looked nothing like a honey bee… thank goodness for acrylic pens 👍, took inspiration from my bee card 🐝😊 Micklethwaite Honey

Printing tea towels this afternoon, very pleased how they look 🦔🎃 … the tea towels are from and are 100% cotton and made in the uk 👏👏

I will be joining Hushabye Felts next Saturday 16 September at the vintage and craft fair at Skipton town hall.

A hedgehog has been on my list to do for a while ☑️ and here he is… illustration has been taken from my hedgehog card. Not bad for a first print.

A couple of paintings I’ve done for a local pub, which are now up on their wall…..if you are around Bingley and fancy a walk along the canal, taking in the 5 rise locks and 3 rise locks, , and of course great bird life ,I can recommend ‘the fisherman’s inn’ for great food and refreshments 🍺🍷🥂
