Bees pollinate one-third of the food we eat. Yet each year, bees are experiencing massive die-offs throughout the U.S. and Canada. According to a 2019 survey from the Bee Informed Partnership, nearly 40% of U.S. beekeepers lost their colonies during the previous year. Compared to 1947, the U.S. honeybee population has declined by 60%.
Last year, we partnered with 1% for the Planet to donate 1% of all Epic Pursuit brand sales to nonprofits that focus on bee conservation and research through sustainable farming practices.
Today, we're delighted to announce our donation of $13,431.57 to The Bee Conservancy – a nonprofit organization committed to protecting bees, safeguarding the environment and strengthening communities.🐝
Our donation will help The Bee Conservancy to build 30 native bee houses across the country in underserved communities, enabling them to grow food, bolster local ecology and protect vital keystone species.🐝

In 2021, we're excited to continue our partnership with 1% for the Planet to donate 1% of our Epic Pursuit brand sales to organizations focused on bee-ing better for the world around us. 🐝
