Question- How do I care for my jewelry?
Helpfil tips
- dont use an ultrasound cleaner bc it can ruin the stones and cause stones to loosen. A lot of Navajo artisans use sawdust to set stones. When sawdust gets wet it expands, causing stones to pop out.
- Use any type of cloth to store your jewelry in or a plastic bag to prevent tarnishing.

Turquoise is my love language!!!
My earliest childhood memories included riding horses, chasing cattle and watching my older siblings rodeo. The logo I use for my business was inspired by my Dad. Here is the story he would tell us about how he started riding. My dad's late step father "Mike" gave him his first horse "Blackie". He was given the reins of the horse and told "here, take care of this horse. whatever you do or go in life, never give up riding, or roping. Hang onto to these reins and pass this on to your kids." At the time I didn't realize the deeper meaning of my dad's story. The horse is my guide through life. When life gets tough, hang on to the reins and he'll lead you through dark times. He will teach you many lessons in life. Be strong, tough and compassionate. The horse I use in my logo is "Blackie" and the woman on the horse is me.
Todays weather was one of the small challenges we face when running our small Navajo business. It rained all day but we were still outside and happy to meet new people. Thank you for always showing us support! Whether it be by liking, sharing a post or commenting.
