Have you heard our version of “Jingle Bells” out on YouTube and streaming services? **Links below** Most of us know the first verse but who knew the lyrics of the other verses were so naughty?! “In one verse, the song's narrator talks about picking up a girl and trying to impress her with the speed of his sleigh, while another verse tells of two young men drag racing their sleighs, both with disastrous results. In another verse, the song's narrator slips on an icy road and falls on his backside while a passing sleigh rider, presumably a buddy of the narrator, laughs and points at the unfortunate fellow. So much for goodwill towards men.” - historydaily. Org
We hope you are enjoying our version of “Jingle Bells” this holiday season! **Links below** Here is some more “Jingle Bells” trivia for you! “When the holiday ditty was first printed by a Boston music publishing house in 1857, it was released under the title “One Horse Open Sleigh.” When it was reissued two years later, the song had the more familiar title of “Jingle Bells.” - history. com
Consider adding our a ca****la arrangement of “Jingle Bells” to your Christmas playlist! 🎄❄️☃️**Links below** Did you know “Jingle Bells" was the first song broadcast from space?! “Just before Christmas 1965, the astronauts of the Gemini 6 contacted Mission Control to report a strange object traveling away from the North Pole, noting that it seemed to have a low Earth orbit. Mission Control was quite concerned about the incident until the astronauts began to play "Jingle Bells" with astronauts Wally Schirra playing the harmonica and Tom Stafford shaking a set of sleigh bells.” - Historydaily. org
Did you know that “Jingle Bells” is actually a Thanksgiving song?! Though it is one of the most popular Christmas tunes of all time, the song supposedly debuted at a church service on Thanksgiving Day 1857. There are no references to Christmas or the holidays. Who knew?! You can watch our music video on YouTube or listen on streaming services now! **Links below.**
