Nuwave Products Review
This site is for other nuwave customers to shaer their experience's with nuwave products
I would like to share my experience with nuwave. I bought the nuwave blender about 3 years ago and was VERY happy with it, that is, when it is working. Luckily I bought the 5 year warranty. Within that 3 years I have had to have the blender motor replaced at least 4 times. At first the process was vert y easy, they send me a new motor and I send them back the broken motor, no expense on my end. Then the last time I it stopped working, the customer service woman was very difficult to make the process as easy as it once was. There were a hundred questions, then I was required to make a video of the blender not working to have it replaced. So, I did that and finally had that motor replaced. Recently the motor started working intermittently. I use the blender about twice a week, so it wasn't over use. I contacted nuwave a again to have this motor replaced, Now I'm required to pay for shipping. These motors aren't light, I'm sure the shipping wouldn't be cheap. This customer service woman acted like the cost of shipping was always the customers responsibility. In reading the warranty recently I see no mention of the customer paying for the shipping. I also noticed that the pitcher and top of the pitcher are also covered under the warranty, when I had issues with the pitcher a couple years ago i had to purchase both. As far as I am concerned, the blender does what it promises, to vacuum the items to be blended, but it is NOT A RELIABLE PRODUCT, and the customer service is worse. Luckily I've always had a 1970's type blender, like the one Mom use to have, as a back up all this time, and it has NEVER broken down. There are plenty of other more reasonable priced blenders that last longer than 6 months. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STRESS LEVEL, RUN AS FAR FROM nuwave AS POSSIBLE. Blendtec or Oster, here I come!!
