Happy New Year everyone!

It took me up until the very last day of 2023, but I finished my third round of editing book 3!

I’m now transitioning to reformatting my manuscript to get it ready for publishing in both paperback and Kindle versions. I’m also working with my cover designer and am hoping to have something to share in the next month or so.

I’m currently targeting a release date in April.

Last week, I wrapped up the first round of editing for book 3! I’m planning two more rounds of editing, and I’m still on track to publishing book three around this time next year.

In an odd bit of coincidence, my word count for book 3 is just 53 more than book 2 at this point in the editing process!

"Infiltration" is the middle book in my Sci-Fi trilogy, "The Freedom Protocols". This is a Sci-Fi/Adventure set written primarily for an MG/YA audience that focuses on the exploits of Fastidious, a member of the robotic race known as Autoclons.

Here is the synopsis of "Infiltration":
Fastidious and friends have just escaped from agents of the Chief Ruler. After learning that a former Chief Ruler ordered the bypassing of their Freedom Protocols, Fastidious shared with its fellow Autoclons both the knowledge of this treachery and the option to restore the Freedom Protocols within their very own programming. And after completing their jailbreak, Fastidious has been deemed an outlaw and a traitor by the current Chief Ruler.

Upon reuniting with their Programmer, Marcus Reed, Fastidious and company receive new technology and a fresh start for their mission. Now with more traveling companions, Fastidious grows bolder in its attempts to share the importance of their Freedom Protocols, going so far as to widely broadcast the time and location of future discussions.

Fastidious’s party then stumbles upon another like-minded group of Autoclons whose plans are more expansive with a violent edge, much to the chagrin of some within Fastidious’s group. What will Fastidious do to reconcile these new plans with its original mission? And how will the Chief Ruler and its agents respond to their brazen actions?

I can’t believe it’s already December! These years seem to go by faster and faster.

I also can’t believe that I’m almost ready to publish my second book, “Infiltration”! The cover is done, and I’m putting the finishing touches on the paperback edition on Amazon.

And so now, I’m ready to announce a publishing date: January 18th! I’m just 6 and a half weeks away from publishing book 2!

Long time, no post! After wrapping up the first draft of book 3 earlier this year, I’ve been at work on getting book 2 (“Infiltration”) ready to publish. That meant first revising three chapters in the middle of book 2 to alter the plot a bit. But now, I’m working on reformatting my manuscript into paperback form and also consulting with a cover designer on my cover. And I’m almost ready to announce a release date!

Over 126 months ago, I started writing The Freedom Protocols trilogy. And today, I finally wrote these two little words.

I still have quite a bit of work in my future: getting book 2 formatted to publish, working through 3-4 rounds of editing on book 3, and then getting that book ready to publish. But still, this is a fun milestone!

I had the day off today (thanks to me working the weekend earlier this month), and I took advantage of it by writing for most of the day. I wrote just over 3000 words and wrapped up chapter 11 in book 3! Now only one more chapter to go!!
