Did you know that transport accounts for over a third of Scotland’s carbon emissions?
Active travel – walking, wheeling and cycling – decreases air pollution and can also save you money!
We're working with Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council to develop an active travel network that will help more people choose to travel by walking, wheeling and cycling - when appropriate, when they want to, and to ensure that the option they choose is available, attractive and safe.

Transport is the single largest polluting sector in Scotland.
So, this we're disappointed to see the latest decision from The Scottish Government to weaken its climate commitments.

Very happy to support this open letter to Humza Yousaf with Stop Climate Chaos Scotland.
❌ The recent Climate Change Committee (CCC) report said Scotland’s climate targets are “no longer credible”.
📈 As a result, we're calling for The Scottish Government to redirect the huge amount of public spending that is *still* going into climate-damaging investments.
🚗 In transport, we're seeing vast cuts made to public transport investment whilst high-carbon road-building spend is protected.
⏰ These spending priorities must change and the Climate Change Committee report must be Scotland's wake up call.
