West Coast Pinball Festival will be proudly hosting the IFPA 2024 Australian Pinball Championships at next year's festival.

The Australian Pinball Championships will see the best players from across each State compete over the festival weekend to crown a new Australian Pinball Champion.

The 2024 Australian Pinball Championships will also award qualification spots for Australians to attend the IFPA World Pinball Championships.

For those new to competitive pinball or keen to have a go, the festival will also be conducting several social tournaments and comps over the weekend including Friday and Saturday Night Social Comps, as well as dedicated women's and kids tournaments.

Competition and tournaments were a highlight across the festival weekend with the largest competitor numbers we've ever seen. From beginners to experienced pros there was something for everyone.

131 Pinball Machines 🤯

The final numbers are in, and what an amazing effort Western Australia! West Coast Pinball Festival has achieved a new record of 131 pinball machines in 2023.

This wouldn't be possible without the amazing support of our vendors and exhibitors who provide their machines for the community to enjoy on the main floor and in the tournament bank.

A special mention goes to Kids Just Wanna Have Fun Amusement Hire who represented Stern Pinball with a staggering 37 pinball machines including the new 007 James Bond Dr. No 🤵

Day 3 [Sunday] and what a finale! 😀

The Sunday Super Session was huge, with the Main Event finals taking place and a 6-hour marathon of free play madness on over 100 pinball machines.

Festival awards were presented to the worthy winners across a long list of categories including the Main Event tournament places. The competition across all our tournaments was fantastic with a great community atmosphere, hitting the largest numbers we've ever seen.

Day 2 [Saturday] OMG heaps of flip'n fun! 😀

Over 3 massive sessions from 9AM to 11PM saw another huge day of pinball at the West Coast Pinball Festival presented by 6iX Perth.

The Little Wizards kids comp was huge with our biggest turnout ever for the Under 16 competitors. Also, the Womens Tournament saw some great competition among the ladies across the tournament arena.

The Main Event kicked off qualifying with the Finals to come later on Sunday.

We are set for another huge day on Sunday with the SUPER SESSION kicking off at 10AM and going non-stope through to 4PM.

Day 1 [Friday] is done and...WOW! 🤯

What an amazing session of silverball to kick-off the 2023 West Coast Pinball Festival presented by 6iX Perth with well over 100 pinball machines on free-play.

The new 007 James Bond pinball is certainly a crowd favourite with both Kids Just Wanna Have Fun Amusement running a Stern Pinball Insider Connected Leaderboard competition, and LJ Amusements rolling their Limited Edition into the Tournament Bank for use in competition across the weekend.

10 News First Perth were capturing all the action live with massive queues appearing at the door long before the action started.

Get set for another massive day tomorrow with 3 huge sessions of flip'n madness, including Qualifying for the Main Event Tournament, the Womens Tournament and Little Wizards Comp for U16s.

Game City Espresso Bar 💕☕🍔🌭

Mesh and the team at Game City Espresso Bar have been tremendous supporters of not just the West Coast Pinball Festival over the past few years, but also many of those less fortunate in the community.

Located in the heart of Perth City on 56 William Street, Game City has a cult following by pinball players across Perth. Their pinball machines are on regular rotation with Deadpool and The Mandalorian currently in-store.

To help celebrate the West Coast Pinball Festival this weekend, Game City Espresso Bar is giving away a couple of passes to the festival. To win the passes, simply play the pinball machine in-store and get a score of 194700 between Tuesday and Friday this week only!

Since the very early days LJ Amusements have always been massive supporters of the festival and committed to growing pinball in Western Australia.

Another festival supporter returning in 2023 is the awesome team at Lermods!

Bounty Hunters Club returns in 2023! 🦌

Across the festival weekend there will be 30 bounties to collect. Bounties will consist of a specific goal or accomplishment on a machine, with the first player to achieve the goal collecting the bounty.

Bounties will be indicated on machines across the festival with a club board updated throughout the weekend showing outstanding bounties still to be collected.

YES! Anyone can collect a bounty at the festival, so search for them across the floor and have a go! 10 new bounties will be added to the floor each day.

Players will be responsible for advising a festival official when achieving a bounty (it pays to have someone with you to send off to find an official!).
