No doubt, our personalities permeate into our living space decor.
Allen and I love to host and entertain guests (when that was a thing! lol) and I would always get compliments on the home decor and asked if I “hired an interior decorator” (now that I am one, I guess I did, ha!).
What I noticed about my decor style is that I gravitated to things that were elegant, prominent but not flashy, conservatively bold but show stopping. Decor that brings about a distinctive air and rich experience.
My creativity is constantly evolving from project to project but make no mistake..... elegant, a little bling, prominent and opulent defines my interior styling DNA. 😊

Continuing on with our Before and After Series with one of our client’s family room / great room.
This was a collaboration with our client as they chose to keep their existing furniture but wanted to add an accent wall, custom drapery, repaint the mantle, add wall art, consoles along with other staple pieces to make their beautiful family room pristine.
We’re still waiting for the last few pieces to complete this project, but we wanted to share the progress thus far. So you have to stay tune!!

Okay so we’re just having too much fun. We’re sprucing up the master bath as well. Not that is was in desperate need for a sprucing but it was just PLAIN.
We not planning a major reconstruction but we ARE sprucing up the master bath. Stay tuned!
We want you guys to get use to our surprise and delights because it’s just a fraction of what’s to come this year! 😉

Okay so can we talk about bidets anyone?
I got very comfortable using bidet toilets when I lived in Germany back in 2008 and I wish the US was more hipped to bidet toilets as a standard toilet.
In our next home, we will definitely install bidet toilets in every bathroom.
Why? Because you can reduce your reliance on toilet paper significantly, it helps out the environment, and it improves your hygiene. Also with toilet paper becoming so scarce due to the pandemic, more folks are investing in bidet toilets.
The toilet featured in the photo is from and is a dual flush elongated bidet toilet. Nice right?! We highly encourage you to look into a bidet in your home!
