I bought a light-weight, medium-size heat press and this came as a freebie. Giddy excited to try amigurumi. But, I would have to postpone that for a later date.

Finished a few orders earlier today. But, I am still too energized that I can't sleep. So, here I am doing a little bit of upcycling. Barely used clothes that no longer fit me doesn't have to go to the recycle bin.

For a while now, I have the nagging thought to totally remove all contents of my closet and fill it with clothes I have made. I can't remove all my clothes yet.

But, I will do the Konmari method. I'm pretty sure doing this would make it pretty empty.

Tonight's challenge: water repellant cushion covers.

Kinda difficult to prep parts on the floor. Especially with sewing buddies (dogs) who keeps on playing with the fabric.

Currently addicted to making shorts. Can you tell?

First time to piece together garter shorts with pockets using an overlock machine. Very minimal straight stitches on this one.

Also, will probably make more of these corduroy shorts in different colors.

Just finished this rush sample zippered pouch with lining this morning. Color block on both sides. It's a very enjoyable stitch despite being challenging to align the colors due to the slightly stretchy nature of the fabric.

This is one of the things I stitched while I was taking the TESDA Dressmaking NC2 course a few months back. Finally found buttons yesterday to finish it.

Disclaimer: The course only covers step by step pattern making, sewing and finishing of the basic blouse and trousers (something suitable for office uniforms). I only adapted what I learned to be able to make this.
