Hi all

Unfortunately due to changes in the SA Skid scene that are still a “work in progress”, many organisers are still to lock in their dates.

This makes it hard for us to organise a series and provide consistency and predictable dates for our entrants.

As a result, we are sad to announce that SA Pro Skids will not be proceeding for 2024/25.

We are hopeful that the following year the skid scene will be back bigger and better.

We will observe and will still be active in the scene, supporting the organisers who have always supported us. As well as you guys.

Fingers crossed that this year is a bit of a glitch in the Matrix and we can come back next year strong.

Thank you to everyone who has and continues to support us. We love what we do and remain hopeful that this isn’t the last you hear from us.

-You will then have the payment form sent to your email that has been entered on the form, you will have 24 hours to complete the payment before the entry is forfeited to the next person on the backup list.
-If we are full there will be a backup list form available, the sooner you are on that the higher you will be if and when spots open up.
-Double entered cars are allowed, be mindful of the event format. Both drivers are to have a entry if this is the case.
-Be sure to have your AASA extreme event licence or General Speed Licence details ready to speed up your process

Scrutineering has already started and the cars are rolling in for tonights 5hrs of open pad. Come down and watch the action starting at 5pm. Bar and Canteen is open and what better way to spend Australia Day with Burnouts and drinks.

☆☆☆ Venue information ☆☆☆

Here is a map of the venue and areas colour coded so you know where to camp and park. Please drive safely when entering the venue and give way to pedestrians at all times.

☆ Camping is the blue area and has been graded for extra camping. There is a soft and hard areas in the camp site suitable for camper, caravans, tents and swags. Generators are allowed but must be turned of at 12am.

☆ Trailer parking is the red area and suitable to drop your trailer. Once that area is full trailers can be parked in the main parking area as per normal.

☆ Main pit unloading area and Parent Pit is the orange/yellow area. This is also where Scrutineering is done so please unload your car and move your trailer out to the trailer parking area before getting your car scrutineered. Parent pits is along the fence line in the yellow area so please keep this area clear for people that have booked a spot in that area. When unloading please be mindful of other cars and pedestrians.

☆ Infield Pit area is the yellow area. This is classed as a hot zone and you will need a driver's arm band or Pit pass to enter this area. Also it's a dry zone and no alcohol to be taken into the pits. Once scrutineered and signed in please take your car and equipment to the infield pits and find a spot. Please drive at slow speeds in the pits and be mindful of pedestrians at all times.

Young Guns class is where the sport begins for our younger generation to learn how to control a car on the pad and gives them more skills for everyday driving. This can be done in a safe environment on the pad.

Unfortunately due to the freak weather this weekend, Whyalla Steelcitydragclub have decided to cancel this weekend’s comp.

Safety first at all times and we know what a harrowing decision it must have been for them with all of the time and effort that they have already put into the organisation of the event.
