Since most classes in the Philippines are done on a face-to-face basis, the education sector is one of the biggest to take the hit from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Most of the schools in the Philippines are not ready to take the classes online. In fact, if the planned online classes for this upcoming school year will push through, it will be the first time public schools (and some private schools) will conduct their classes online.

This sudden change is not only a challenge for the education sectors but also for the students and parents who have been greatly affected by the closing down of businesses. Poverty, unemployment, and lack of stable internet connection are other issues that have to be faced.

What solutions have been proposed by the Philippine government to address these? Find out this saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11 in the morning.

You will be able to receive a free certificate of participation if you register!

See you on Saturday!

Nurses are the frontline of hospitals, community centers, companies, and even schools when it comes to diseases. With the arrival of COVID-19, the overworked nurses find themselves with more tasks to do and more challenges to hurdle for the love of the profession.

Nowadays, nurses have to face discrimination from common folk due to the nature of their work, specifically taking care of COVID-19 patients. Aside from that, nurses also have to face the possibility that they may contract the disease and unknowingly infect their family. Of course, the on-going problem of being underpaid, overworked, and unappreciated by the Philippine government still stands.

During the last few months of 2019, news about an unknown virus from Wuhan, China made its way to the headlines. Not only has this virus affected the economy of the world, but also the lives of every single one of us. Suddenly everyone was forced to stay at home, wear a mask, practice social distancing, schools were closed, malls and leisure businesses shut down, and even churches or places of worship were affected.

How do we cope?

Join us for a FREE ONE (1) HOUR WEBINAR about The Effects of COVID-19 on Psychosocial Well-Being, Education, and Nursing Practice.

In this webinar, we will be discussing on the many ways the Philippine Education system has chosen to adjust with this new normal, how COVID-19 has not only affected our physical health but also our mental health, and how nurses cope with discrimination, abuse, having to care for infected COVID-19 patients at the risk of their health and that of their loved ones at home. We will also be discussing how hospitals are supporting their nurses during this trying time.

Again, it will be on June 20, 2020 (Saturday) at 11 in the morning!

Hope to catch you online!
