Busy weekend at We Be Jammin.
Made strawberry rhubarb, vanilla pear and orange (just a hint of apple pie spice added). Orange you say? Yes it was a customer request. After peeling, cleaning and chopping I almost said PITH (🤣) on it. But it turned out great!

I’m feeling thrilled that I was asked to showcase and sell my We Be Jammin homemade jams at the 2021 Fall Festival at Firestone Charter Academy. It’s a fund raiser to get the schools PTA off the ground. I had to decline as I have previous plans. But I’m honored to have been asked.

Spicy peach - jalapeño

Made today. Palisade Peach Jalapeño. If you’re looking to spicy up your tailgate party, FAC or just because you like spicy, this jam is for you. Fresh from the western slope these peaches do each for themselves. Add jalapeño and a bit of chili pequin and you’ve got spicy peach jam! Deliciosa!!!

Busy day at We Be Jammin. Made apple butter, banana jam (delicious!) and peach butter simmering in the crock pot. Tomorrow will peach jalapeño and peach. $7.50 a jar. Hit me up if you want some.

Anyone looking for palisade peaches in the Longmont area let me know. I have a guy off highway 66 selling them at a great price. Seconds are $10 per box!! Regular are $40 a box. Approximate weight 20 pounds. (I’m posting because he’s a nice guy. I’m not making money)

I’ve been making jam for over 30 years and several years ago someone suggested I sell it. The rest as they say is history. It’s great jam; made with 1/3 less sugar, fruit and pectin. That’s it! I can make pretty much any flavor. If I don’t have it make a suggestion. I’ll try it. I do not make sugar free or seedless at this time.
