Here is my first issue as editor of the Maclaurin Art Gallery magazine. Please have a look inside. There is coverage of the current Peter Howson and Frank McFadden exhibitions plus a preview of the Barbara Rae exhibition which opens on June 22. We also speak to artists working in the community, take a look at the Boswell Book Festival and catch up with some of the other art events happening in Ayrshire. Why not drop in to the Maclaurin at Rozelle Estate, Monument Road, Ayr? There’s superb art to view and some fabulous cakes in the Rozelle cafe.
