Beautiful firelighters from we haven't used one yet, but the house smells amazing!
Itās been quite a couple of weeks! Iāve been privileged enough to take my good health for granted until now, so itās been quite a shock to the system to be really properly ill š„“ Tests are ongoing, with a few more hospital visits scheduled in the short term, so weāve decided that the best thing to do is to shut the business down for a short while until everything is resolved.
I will still be managing the admin for Quirky Eclectica but Ashley will be managing the fairs on site, along with our lovely friend Ru .
The website will be closed for now and I wonāt be attending any fairs for the foreseeable. Please keep an eye on social media for updates.
Iām hoping this will be resolved very soon and I canāt wait to see you all again!

Carlisle artisan crafts and food fair set to return to city centre AN artisan crafts and food fair is set to return to Carlisle city centre.
You may notice a few small changes going on around hereā¦
Manor Barn Organics was born before lockdown, when we were purely working as a clinical aromatherapy business offering treatments and organic aromatherapy products. Like many businesses, we had to adapt and change, and now we are more than just Organicsā¦
In wanting to reflect our love of Cumbria, our joy of barn and rural living and our passion for creating sustainable products that reflect those ideals, we are now Manor Barn Cumbria. Organics will still be a part of who we are, along with Manor Barn Candles, Manor Barn Home and Manor Barn Vintage.
We will be working on changing our website, email and labels, so please look out for more updates š¤©
Welcome to our new world of rustic living and luxury š¤©

āļøCUSTOMER NOTICE - CHANGES āļø
Lakeland Laser Creations is now 6 years old! Itās hard to believe 6 years ago I started off with a small Epilog laser on maternity leave in my garage making a small range of personalised gifts. Now i have 2 larger machines in a unit, working full time making mostly business to business products and a larger range of gifts.
Thank you for all the support over the last 6 years.
In order to move business forward and work most effectively and efficiently, some changes will now come into place for the New Year.
The unit for my business only will NO longer run as a shop for customers to browse and choose items. We will not have any stock on display and there will be no other products from other small businesses which we have tried to do and support for the last 3 years. Sadly the footfall is limited on the business park and it is no longer viable to stock the shelves that potentially donāt sell. I am reducing the range of blank items I buy in to laser engrave for personalise gifts but I will still be offering some products. It is advisable to order online or message/ email me as I will not always be working from the unit.
On a positive note, the amount of business to business work I now get is increasing all the time including large multiple orders, signs, medals, trophies and business branding. So I am now going to focus on this line of work for the future. Closing the shop will allow me more flexibility and time to focus on doing this too.
The website will be updated with the types of personalised gifts and products I will still be offering in the new year. Please just get in touch if thereās something youāve seen or had before. I may still have stock for a while or keep some of the most popular lines.
The Rijo 42 coffee/ hot drinks machine will be back in the unit and will be accessible during Pawfect Pets opening hours in the new year. This will usually be Tuesday - Friday 8.30-4.30 and most Saturday mornings. It is available to all at a price of Ā£2 regular and Ā£2.50 large.
It is a shame Iāve had to make this decision and no longer provide a service locally in the town but due to a lack of support and footfall for the shop, it it no longer viable. I hope you can all appreciate Iām doing this in order to keep business going in whatās been a difficult couple of years. Business to business is the line of work I now get most of and will continue to grow in that direction. Some personalised gifts will still be available to order online. You will be able to collect from the shop as usual for local customers but a time will have to be arranged.
We will no longer accept card payments. The card machine has now been disconnected. Cash or online payment will now only be available.
Please note these changes do not affect Pawfect Pets. Julieās shop will remain open as normal.
Hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and enjoy the new year. Iāve certainly enjoyed the rest with my children.
Now to look forward to business in 2024!
Thanks
Marie
And thatās a wrap from us! Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts for an incredible year and an even more incredible Christmas seasonā¦youāve completely blown us away! I hope our candles help to get you in the Christmassy mood and weāre always so thrilled to hear youāre giving our products as gifts š¤©
We have exciting plans for next year and canāt wait to share them with you!
Have a wonderful, peaceful and restful holiday and weāll look forward to seeing you all soon. Lots of love, Tracey and Paul š
