Going to start another test stream shortly, maybe 10 or so minutes if changing to a different setup goes smoothly... not pinball this time, but a PC game I used to play a few years ago, I heard there is a twitch mod that allows the chat to affect the game and I've been wanting to play it again.... who knows when I'll start playing the game seriously on twitch (will focus on pinball and video arcades), but getting this testing done early before there's potentially lots of followers on the account.
Welcome to watch and join in testing the chat commands. It will be a learning experience for all of us.
Doing a short test stream of pinball, just mainly checking if my slow home internet can actually handle streaming as my uploads normally only hover around 3 to 6 Mbps... have done my best to cut down on potential upload usage without butchering stream quality, can always go up in quality if things run smoothly.
At least I know that streaming from Nhill will work as that connection is 10x better.

Making of Jim Henson's Labyrinth Pinball Machine! Our friendship with artist Johnny Fraser-Allen comes full circle as he reveals the Jim Henson's Labyrinth pinball machine that he's been art directing for th...
Finding games for Battle of the Arcades... returned to the first video game arcade I ever went to nearly 10 years ago. Over 800 video games. Galloping Ghost Arcade.
Don't see what all the fuss is about a Jaws pinball....
This home brew game is fairly good. If you've ever played the Pinball Circus in Vegas you know how boring that game is to play, this takes the similar concept of having a massive amount of height to the playfield but actually makes it fun to play.
Absolutely amazing home brew game, plays better than a lot of production games.
Elton John pinball from JJP rolling in for the release seminar at Chicago Pinball Expo.
Quite the turnout for the Stern factory tour, I overheard there's 14 school buses coming, I noticed last night the buses seat 70 people, so approx 1000 people booked in to visit the Stern factory.
Just won a PAX medal for a highscore competition on Cactus Canyon :)
First game on Cactus Canyon at PAX this morning..... and completed High Noon at OK Corral wizard mode.
Thanks to everyone who attended on the weekend!
Please note, if you've already put October 4th in your calendar then please delete it, we've just sold some alpacas interstate and will be doing the delivery that day so I wont be back in time to run another tournament then. Will post up about doing another event that will be around mid to late November.
Send me a message if you're interested regarding Saturday. 👍
Driving back from Sydney now, so will get back asap. Can't remember at the moment what I put down in details for the tournament, if I forgot to put registration fee in maybe just chuck me $10 when you get here for the usual. Arrival from an hour beforehand is fine.
Tournaments:
Given I seem to always have pinballs thrown in my house I'll open it up (hopefully) every month for a comp.
This will be an ideal situation for me to have any project games stress tested before they are put into the museum.
If you found this newly created page from the IFPA listings I put up the other week, a few changes to what was originally listed:
1 - I'll be changing up the tournament format each time to test out the feasibility of different styles to use at the museum.
2 - I'm moving the Sept 21 to Sept 23 as the 21st clashes with Flipside.
3 - My planned August 3rd can't go ahead as I'll now be interstate.
4 - start times will be from 7pm to allow extra travel time from the city for those who finish work at 5pm.
Kicking this off is taking slightly longer than I had hoped (meeting up with people and talking about this, clearing crap out my house to have space to move around, etc), but at least publicly making a page and advertising has created some deadlines, and I usually only do any work at the last minute anyway :)
Pinball and arcade videos coming soon :)
