- Growatt 12kw is on the work bench and hooked up.. it uses 2.7 amps idle and the 6kw uses 2.0 Amps at idle..funny thing is my highly modified Powerjack 10 uses 1.22 amps at idle.. btw making a new channel and moving my solar projects to it.. stick around.

- Here I have 2 Growatt inverters. Both are low frequency. The one on the left is the massive Growatt 12KW and the one in the right is the mini me Growatt 6 KW. Let me state this.. the 12 kWh weighs in at 200 plus lbs and the 6kw is 80 ish lbs... the test going to be go fun... BTW IG’s stupid photo crops.. I had to turn some side ways.. sorry. stay tuned.. no I didn’t lift these... had someone else do it..

- Shipped my first Lithium batteries to someone in TX... I got these cmax cells and realized I couldn’t use them. So I found someone that could. Wish a lot of packages had this much care! LOL

.joe00 - The Growatt 12kwh 48v inverter has landed. I’ve got to now test both 6kwh and the 12kwh low frequency inverters and compare them !

- (Maybe for sale) I got a whole Ford C-Max battery and tore it apart... started charging a few cells. I put 15 I think together to low level balance, then I charged all 15 at 10 amps... just a small low level charge. I think these are the 5 ah... might be 10 ah... I’ll have to research more.. I have 76, and I might sell them... video to come soon! @ Atlanta, Georgia

- Yep more Ring Battery packs! So in the past 2 weeks I got a total of 978 more packs to open. But it seems the seller caught on to giving a lot of extra packs. This last batch only had like 8-15 extra packs per 100 ordered. Before this order, I was getting 20-40 extra per 100 ordered. I liked getting the free extra packs. But oh well.. that being my total Ring Battery packs up to close to 6,000 packs. So close to 12,000 batteries from them alone. Hoping to build a 100 kWh DIY Powerwall with them all.

- New grill all out together and even grilled a few times before I posted. I’m shocked at how good it cooks. I hope it hold up better than the Webber !! So far so good.. time will tell. We are close to the beach / the Gulf of Mexico and steel / stainless steel doesn’t last outside ..

Yeah! It’s about to go down.. A Growatt 6k LF inverter... with WiFi... I know .joe00 was taking about getting one as well. Hopefully it’s does that it says. All the reviews says it does and has a 2 year warranty... we shall see!!

Most might know or not, I’m an Amateur radio operator holding an extra class license, and guess who? I’m also part of SkyWarn, which is part of the National Weather Service..where I’m going with this is, we also chase storms and he said, if you see me and need food or water while chasing, flag me down... I was stoked... if we didn’t just have a storm and was able to, I’d be in LA for this large hurricane. Pray for all of the gulf coast over the next few days. It was rough for us.

Anyone in the Mobile AL area with out power? Our grid power is out and we’ve had rain for 2 days and my solar batteries are low. Hurricane Sally is bearing down on us as I type. So hopefully we will get some sun or the rain stops tomorrow so I can get the generator out...

Making some very quick and rough changes to my shops powerwall before the hurricane comes... change it to 2 Tesla Model S packs instead of 6... keeping the other 4 for the house.. for longer run time. Please don’t hate on my very quick and rough mods... I will be doing a total redo...

.. So this little 10kWH Powerjack that I purchased... wait don’t jump my bones because of the brand... this thing pulled 9,200 watts before my rework. I’m totally redoing it, sadly I started the work before I started recording it.. (beats head on wall, and I started with my phone... not my higher end Canon...) but il have the complete video up soon... keep an eye out in my YouTube..It’s not gonna be a stable video.. on well.
