Going foward, Hajiya Miss Omoke has been conferred with the title of Iye Oja Ankpa and will be working closely and confidence with Hajiya Maimuna.

Earlier today, His Royal Highness, Dr. Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II, Ejeh Ankpa and Chairman Ankpa Traditional Council, received the newly appointed Ankpa Local Government Caretaker Chairman, Engr. Ademu Mohammed Yahaya who was accompanied by Hon. Lawal Akus, the member representing Ankpa 1 Constituency. The visit marked by courtesy saw His Royal Highness offering sage advice and extending heartfelt prayers to the duo.

Ejeh Ankpa, HRH Dr. Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II and the distinguished emirs, including Emir of Keffi - HRH Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa III, Emir of Borgu - HRH Barr. Mohammad Haliru Dantoro and Emir of Awe - HRH Alhaji Isah Abubakar Umar, gathered for another significant event. On the 13th of January, 2024, they represented the Sultan of Sokoto at the mosque commissioning at the Federal University Lokoja.

Their presence at this occasion highlights the importance of religious infrastructure in every institution.

The commissioning of the mosque on 12 Friday January, 2024 at Ajiyolo in Dekina Local Government witnessed the distinguished presence of HRH Alh. ( Dr.) Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II, Ejeh Ankpa, Chairman Ankpa Traditional Council, and Vice Chairman Igala Area Traditional Council. The event was graced by eminent representatives of notable leaders, including the Sultan of Sokoto ably represented by the Emir of Keffi, Ejeh Ankpa, Emir of Borgu and Emir of Awe

The representative of the Sultan of Sokoto, HRH Dr. Shehu Yamusa III, Emir of Keffi, along Emir Borgu, and Emir Awe, namely HRH Barr Mohammad Haliru Dantoro, HRH Alhaji Isah Abubakar Umar, HRH Alhaji Isah Abubakar Umar and lead by Ejeh Ankpa added prestige to the occasion.

The mosque was constructed by the Auditor General of Kogi State, Alhaji Yakubu Okala. His contribution not only reflects a commitment to religious infrastructure but also exemplifies the importance of public service in fostering social and cultural harmony. The commissioning marks a significant milestone in the region

I extend my deepest condolences to His Royal Majesty, Dr. Mathew Alaji Opaluwa, ATA IGALA and the entire Igala kingdom on the passing of his elder sister, Late Memuna Oguche Akpa. The loss of Iye Agwuna Ata Igala is not only a sorrow for the royal family but also for the entire Igala. Her contributions to the royal lineage will undoubtedly be remembered and cherished.

During this difficult time, may His Royal Majesty find strength and solace in the memories of Late Memuna Oguche Akpa's noble deeds. May the unity and resilience of the Igala people provide comfort to the grieving hearts.

In celebration of His Royal Highness, Alh. (Dr.) Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II’s two years on the throne and the successful coronation and presentation of the staff of office on 7th October, 2023, the Ejeh Ankpa and Chairman Ankpa Traditional Council is pleased to announce the distinguished individuals who will be conferred with chieftaincy titles and appointed to key positions within the council.

We pray to God Alimghty to endow each and every one of us with self believe and courage to carry out both our civic and moral responsibilities. We owe it first of all to God Alimghty to be tolerant of the shortcomings and misgivings of one and other and also to our land, especially the land of our birth to love and celebrate with one and other.

Earlier today, i attended the annual dinner and Foundation laying of Ankpa Lawyers Forum secretariat which would be named after Late Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi SAN, at Ankpa with the Chief Judge of FCT, Justice Husseini Baba Yusuf and AIG Abdulsalami Iyaji (Rtd).

Feats like this must be encouraged by all and sundry to enable existing and budding lawyers to commune and harness ideas for the overal benefit of our land.

Yesterday, a courtesy visit was conducted to Ejeh Ankpa, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu, led by Mr. Peter O. Oni and his team. The visit served as a platform to strengthen ties between the community and the visiting delegation, laying the groundwork for potential future partnerships.

The highest form of self sabotage is to question the will of Almighty Allah, we are pained that you are no longer here with us, but we dare not question the will of Almighty Allah.
His decisions are the best for every season, occasion and person.

We however, humbly supplicate to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of His Royal Majesty, late Dr. Ado Ibrahim.

Earlier today, i was at the Johara Farm on a royal courtesy visit. Johara farm owned by an illustrious Son of Ankpa is one of the influential farms in Igala land. Its influence stretch beyond Job creation, food security to other relevant agricultural purveys.

Also today, Ejeh Ankpa and Chairman Ankpa Traditional Council, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Yakubu II, graciously welcomed representatives of Ankpa Chief Imam into his palace. The esteemed representatives conveyed heartfelt prayers for His Royal Highness's long and peaceful reign. His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude for the prayers and reiterated his commitment to serving the community with dedication and wisdom, fostering a sense of solidarity among the people of Ankpa.

Ejeh Ankpa and Chairman Ankpa Traditional Council, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II received a delegation from Albeyan University, Ankpa, Kogi State, today. The distinguished delegation headed by Mallam Sani Harun, PHD, conveyed their heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Highness. During the meeting, Mallam Sani Harun presented a congratulatory gift to His Royal Highness on behalf of Albeyan University. The visit showcased a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect between the traditional council and the educational institution.

As part of the activities to mark the two years on throne as Ejeh Ankpa, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II, attended the Jummah prayer service at Ankpa central mosque today. The event was marked by a gathering of worshippers, where His Royal Highness actively participated, emphasizing the significance of unity in his address.
