It saddens me to learn that my cousin, Jojo, and his family lost their home & possessions due to the wildfires of Lahaina, HI. I don’t know what it feels like but it’s heartbreaking to see them in this devastating situation.

If you know him & was touched by his kind heart, perhaps you can pay it forward & help him in his hour of need. If you can spare a few dollars to help his family, I would truly appreciate it.

My prayers go out to Jojo, his family and everyone affected by this catastrophic event.🙏🏼

Now, my choice of outfit today was meticulously planned. I chose the red Cornell hat because hopefully, I’ll see my daughter who is an alumnus. My white blouse is crisp, classy and feminine. The bow reminds me of a gift. Independence Day is a present, isn’t it? My navy skirt has great details from the waist, to the box pleats and hidden side pockets. I added the flag brooch to the belt for a little sparkle. My shoes & purse have all the holiday colors plus gold. I couldn’t forget the stars of the flag. I believe I’m quite patriotic today, don’t you? Lol

(Pardon my nails. They’ve grown, not fake. It’s been two weeks since I got a manicure but I thought I’d show the colors/design😉. I have the best manicurist in NYC!💕)

When it’s 91°F (32°C) with 87% humidity, I find the fountain at the MET to be quite cooling.😊 Especially when a little girl goes in & splashes me.😂 Boy, did she get in trouble by her grandpa. Good-bye fountain.👋🏼

I’m really starting to get comfortable wearing midi dresses. Even though this dress is long, it kept me cool & comfortable. Since it’s so hot, I opted for the color white even though New Yorkers are known to wear black.

Did you know that dark colors provide better protection from the sun's UV rays? This makes black and other dark colors an excellent choice for sunblocking power. Unfortunately, black does attract heat, so you'll probably be the most comfortable wearing black on days that are sunny but not so warm.

The sun came out late today but I brought it on earlier. There’s just something about wearing the color yellow. It immediately lifts up my spirits.😊

I’m starting to realize how much I actually wear denim pants. I think everyone should own at least one classic pair but also one that’s a bit edgy or trendy. I like the tuxedo stripes of this one. The hemline also has some interest. The fabric itself has a bit of a stretch which I think everyone mom loves. It’s so comfortable.

I paired my pants with a silk top. The braided neckline is a nice touch & I wore a white tank under so you can see the details clearly.

As you know, I love blazers. Everyone should also have at least one white blazer. It’s a great staple to dress up any outfit.

And last but not least, a pair of heels will gives me a confident boost. If anything, it gives me a height boost, lol. Don’t you love these heels? The leather is so soft, the color is divine & I don’t even notice the heels.😏

Let’s all strut confidently towards our dreams!!!

My two most valuable treasures are my daughters. I want them to feel that they’re beautiful because of their golden hearts. And I want them to know that they’re beautiful because of their intelligent minds. I see before my eyes how they blossom each day by making the world a better place.

It’s already Tuesday? I thought it was still Monday. Time is just going by so quickly. I must be having fun.😊

You know what’s fun for me? Finding new ways to wear items in my closet.

Since it’s pretty nice in the morning & chillier at night, I decided to layer instead of wearing a thicker coat.

I started by putting on this cream silk tank with spaghetti straps & scalloped v-neck. I then wore a v-neck sweater over it. Don’t you like how the scalloped neckline is peeking out from underneath? And lastly, I layered it with my cream bouclé jacket. I like how it’s shorter in the back, the neckline and zipper details. The princess seam also gives it a flattering fit.

As far as color, it compliments my hat & shoes. I’m so glad I was able to pull it off. The only thing I need to change are my jeans. I think it’s time for me to pull out my dressier pants and skirts.

It’s wedding season. Which wedding gown do you prefer? 1-5👈🏼

#1 This one is definitely dramatic. The pleated tulle skirt looks much better in person. One of my friends said it looks like toilet paper in the photos. It is not!😂 Even though it was fun to have such a long train, it was quite heavy to walk around. I wouldn’t mind trying another one and take a photo on the stairs.

#2 If you want to show off your figure, this lace mermaid gown is a great option. One of the photos actually accentuated my hips and made me look like I had a shapely butt, lol.

#3 I love the simplicity of this satin gown. The thin belt with a bow is classy chic. Although, I suggested making this gown less poofy and adding a front slit with a little bit of lace peeping to give it some s*x appeal. Can you visualize it? Elegant & s*xy…it’s a great combination!

#4 This one is so light & airy, it almost felt like I wasn’t wearing anything. I like the deep v-neckline and see-through lace. This would be a good choice for a beach wedding. I felt like running along the shoreline with joy.

#5 I agree with the photographer. This one made me feel like a princess. The see-through lace bodice was flattering and the slit in the different layers of tulle made it s*xy. Adding pearls throughout the skirt will compliment the bodice. The headdress and veil made it a special ensemble to end the photo shoot.

has always been a special place for me & I’m glad to finally be back. I highly recommend getting the “Cucumber Mint Martini.” I believe they make the best in the city. (Although, I drank the Espresso Martini this time). The food is excellent. The ambiance and company always perfect.

I can almost guarantee celebrity sightings this weekend because the MET Gala is on Monday, May 2nd. A lot of them stay at the hotel. Sssshhhh, don’t tell anyone that I told you.🤫

Coming here always gives me a reason to dress up. This is one of my “go-to” outfits: a striped wrapped dress with a cropped cape jacket. Simple yet classy.

Never dress like a slob, even on a Sunday.✨ You can be casual in a classy way.

I know I’ve said that I rarely wear t-shifts. Today, I’m wearing one but it has a satin trim on the neckline. Paired with a classic cardigan and I look presentable.

I think it’s important to have a great selection of coats and jackets for each season. Since it’s a little nippy today, this is a good transition coat. It’s not too heavy or too light.

My baseball hat and shoes actually mimic each other. The colors are a good match. The shoes are pre-pandemic and the hat post-pandemic. Can you believe it?

I went for a walk and I found a building that matched my outfit, lol😂…I then found out that it’s the New National Museum of Monaco (Nouveau Musée National de Monaco) - Villa Sauber. It’s a museum of contemporary visual art. Very cool! Sadly, it was closed.

I kept on walking on Avenue Princess Grace (💕), passed by the Grimaldi Forum, and made it to the beach. These photos are not filtered nor edited. Great shots of some indescribable colors & scenery. This place is absolutely beautiful and clean. At this time, it’s also not crowded.

My casual look consists of a comfortable white trouser, a blush pink silk top layered with a blush pink trench coat with cream trim accents & buttons. Let’s not forget the perfect baseball hat that I found & of course, my white walking shoes. Perfect for touring the area in comfort & a bit of class.😉

…because you are special!💕 We can be our own worst critics but remember, someone can love you just the way you are.

I have this fascination with tulle skirts. Don’t you think it makes the ensemble more FUN? I highly suggest mixing things up a bit & invest in pieces that you typically wouldn’t buy.

On a different note, I thought I’d share photos of some of the buildings. There are a lot of yellow ones throughout Nice. Maybe that’s why I’m happy. The architecture is beautiful and the color so uplifting.😊

What’s your attire when you travel on a plane?✈️

I opted for denim pants with pearl embellishments & white chiffon mock t-neck with a stylish back. Darn it, I forgot to take a photo. Wearing a white blazer made my ensemble classy while keeping me warm on the plane.

This was the perfect outfit to wear because I had no time to change when I landed. This New Yorker was ready to stroll Côte d’Azur in style😉

This was a nice overnight stop before we headed to the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters🎾. I’m so grateful for my tennis buddy for giving me this opportunity. I am blessed.🙏🏼

It’s Good Friday✝️ and I found myself awake at 3:30am. I’m still jet-lagged. Since I couldn’t go back to sleep, I watched the sunrise.🌅

I’m lucky I could just walk across the street to watch it. It was a bit chilly and this shawl was perfect to wrap around my shoulders. I get so much use out of this: on the plane, in a stadium, on the beach, etc. Can’t go wrong with Chanel. I highly suggest that you invest in one that you love.

I seem to be into pearls these days. This sweater with pearl accents kept me warm & cozy as I layered it over a white tank. Of course, my walking shoes had pearl accents on them, too.😏

Last but not least, I accented my outfit with my Valentino belt. I’m obsessed with belts & have different styles which I’m trying to utilize more. Well, this is the start to another wonderful day.

It’s a beautiful day to be back in NYC. I can’t believe the high was 84 °F☀️ I just had to take a stroll in Central Park.

Can you believe that I’m wearing shorts? This is usually not the norm for me but when I do, I like to dress it up with a more feminine top. This blush pink eyelet lace, ruffled, spaghetti strap top was perfect for today.

Instead of wearing walking shoes, I decided to wear this wedge sandals. I must say, I got lots of compliments on it.

Today’s look is just another example of how you can dress casually & still be stylish!😉

Hello👋🏼 Today is a very casual day, running errands & finishing projects before the BIG DAY, tomorrow.😍

Right now, I’m happy to wear a l’il bit of pink and a touch of floral. Do you like this print? 🌸 The top is very roomy so it’s easy for me to move around. It’s comfortable but still stylish.

You know, I love coats & jackets. This blush pink coat has two deep pockets. Keys & lipstick in one side, credit card in the other. No need for a purse…perfect for running around.🏃🏼‍♀️
