Inline refractive index measurements are very powerful in defining incoming CMP slurry density and ensuring H2O2 concentration in colloidal silica slurries. Both CMP slurry density and H2O2 correlate with wafer polish removal rate. The test results encourage facilities engineers and process engineers to move closer to each other.

Raindow Test Tube -shot on Bourbon street??
No, not this time. This is picture from experimental chemistry class in high school. Students mixed 50 grams of water, food colors and different quantities of sugar (11g, 22g,...) in different test tubes. Then these different color sugar mixtures were carefully transferred to single test tube with pipette.
Different gravities and concentrations will slowly mix due increasing entropy but for a while you can enjoy this sweet sugar rainbow test tube!

Berry picking from forests in Finland is everyman's right in Finland. You can pick e.g. blueberries, rasberries, lingonberries and cloudberries in forest and swamps without permission of the landowner. It is quite common that families have 10-100 liters of wild forest berries in their freezers after August and during dark winter berries are used in baking and cooking to bring necessary vitamins. They taste good too!
In larger industrial scale berries are cultured in farms and harvested to processing plants where they are frozen for further processing to for example to juices, jams and jellies. Typically DCM-20 is controlling Brix concentration when end products are manufactured and packed to reach correct sugar level and ensure uniform quality when there is natural deviation in harvests between seasons and farmers.
