What areas of my body can donate fat for my BBL?
The fat can come from any area that there is excess. This includes the arms, the abdomen, the back or the legs. However, you must be conscious that too many areas of liposuction may result in complications. I usually like to obtain the fat from the abdomen and the back. Remember that there is a limit of 5 liters of fat per session.

Should I stop smoking before my BBL?
Yes. Smoking decreases the oxygen that is needed for the fat to survive the transfer. Stop at least 4 weeks before and 3 months after surgery.

Where should I inject my fat for my BBL? On top or in the muscle?
Always on top of the muscle. Injecting the muscle to try to increase fat survival is dangerous. This type of practice is associated to fat embolisms.

Should I gain weight before my BBL?
Everything depends on the size of your gluteal area and the sources of fat that you have to supplement the demands.
If your BMI is in the low 20s, I would suggest to start increasing your weight gain.

What is the Maximum BMI for having my BBL?
There is no wright or wrong answer. The simple answer is 32. 34 if there are no comorbidities. The lower the BMI the safer the surgery.
The Higher the BMI, the less areas that can be address with the liposuction. If you BMI is high, be prepared to have your procedure split in several surgeries.
Cual es el BMI maximo para tener mi BBL?
No hay respuesta correcta o incorrecta. La respuesta mas simple es 32. 34 si no ha otras enfermedades. Mientras menor sea tu BMI, mas segura es la cirugia.
Mientras mas alto sea el BMI, menos areas se pueden tartar con la liposuccion. Si tu BMI es alto, preparate a tener varias cirugias para tener el cuerpo que deseas.

Can I do other procedures in combination with my BBL?
Yes. There are some restrictions to make the procedure safe for the patient.
1. We need to reduce the amount of fat from the liposuction to 3 litters only.
2. The surface area of the surgery should be limited to only one other area. IE: lipo of back with transfer to the gluteal area and a Tummy tuck.
3. Be aware that the fat of the transfer may have lesser survival due to the positioning during recovery.
Puedo combinar un BBL con otros procedimientos?
Si. Hay algunas restricciones para hacer el procedimiento Seguro para los pacientes.
Tenemos que reducer la cantidad de grasa de la liposuccion a solo 3 litros.
