The first thing you should do when you see a new rash on your child is the 🫗glass test.
Roll a glass cup over the rush and check if it fades or it’s a non-blanching rash. ❗️If you see a rash that doesn’t fade when pressed on, seek urgent medical attention!

Our job is to work out what they are trying to say ❤️👶🏼
It can be a struggle to figure out what they want to tell us. The first forms of communication lack the detail we take for granted, but some deduction will lead to deciphering those cries, coos, points, shakes, smiles, and so on
There is so much information in our body language, facial expressions, actions and vocalizations!

3 top tips from Eszter Bove, IBCLC lactation consultant, Infant feeding specialist, baby massage instructor, CMC facilitator and international expert of Enappy.com
If your child is doing this, DO NOT do backblows! 🚫
This is a classic example of what gagging looks like. The treatment for a gagging child? Sit and watch!
Backblows are only to be performed if your child is choking.
Remember:
If retching, crying or has a cough - keep hands off!
If silent, panicked and unable to yelp - it’s time to help!

Did you know that introducing common allergenic foods to children before their first year of age can reduce the likelihood of developing allergies to these foods later on?
1️⃣ Test only one allergen at a time to determine the potential cause of any reaction.
🌜 Avoid introducing allergens during dinner time. It's best to do it during waking hours so that you can observe any potential reactions.
❗️ If your child shows any signs of a reaction, remove the food immediately, clean their face, hands, and mouth thoroughly, and monitor for worsening symptoms.
🚑 If any signs of respiratory distress occur, including a hoarse voice, blue lips, or swelling of the throat or mouth, call an ambulance immediately, as these are signs of anaphylaxis.

When is it possible to fly while pregnant? What should you pay attention to? 🤰✈️
📆🤱 August 1st is World Breastfeeding Day and the first day of World Breastfeeding Week. WBW was initiated in 1992 to raise awareness of the importance of breastfeeding for infants.
This year's theme is "Breastfeeding and Work," which provides a strategic opportunity to support breastfeeding-friendly essential maternal rights - sufficient maternity leave and subsequent workplace accommodations. These are urgent issues to ensure that women can breastfeed for as long as they want: over half a billion working women lack essential maternity support, and even more find themselves without support when they return to work.
Pool or natural water?💦
When buying 🩱swimwear for your child, keep in mind this test conducted by , which helps in choosing the colour.
The most important thing is to avoid blue swimwear.🔵 Why is this important? Because if something goes wrong, like your child drowning, you can immediately spot your child at the bottom of the pool. Some colours, especially shades of blue, have poor visibility in both pools and natural water.❗️ If you can't see their shorts/swimsuits, you might not notice something wrong.
However, it is still crucial to always keep an eye on the child when they are in the water!😉
🤱 Many first-time mums become unsure whether their baby is eating enough or if their milk supply is adequate.
To answer this question, it is worth knowing approximately the size of a newborn's stomach and how it changes in the first weeks.

When your baby sleeps for 15 minutes 😅
🎥
Have you ever thought about what a newborn can see? 😊
Did you know? If you leave the pushchair or car seat covered (even with a light, breathable cover) for an extended period of time, the temperature underneath the cover can be up to 20 degrees 🌡higher.
Even the thinnest material can reduce airflow and raise the internal temperature, creating a kind of "greenhouse effect."
🌞 Here are some tips on how to keep your baby cool during the summer season!
✅Avoid going outdoors for a longer period of time if it's very hot.
✅Avoid direct sunlight if possible
✅Use pram parasols and sunshades that do not reduce the airflow
✅Check the baby every 10-15 minutes, and if they appear flushed, sweaty, warm, irritable, drowsy, or lethargic, or if you notice any respiratory changes (such as rapid breathing), it may be a sign that the baby is too hot. Immediately take them to a cool place!
✅Use a portable stroller fan to help with the airflow.
‼️Heatstroke poses a real danger in the summer, especially for infants!
❗☀️Never leave your child unattended in the car, no matter the temperature outside! We show you why! 🚗
Happy Father's Day to all the fantastic dads!🦸♂️ You all are your best to fulfill every demand and dream of your child and we are proud of you.💝
