KJ's Macrames

So....here is a sneak peak of what I am creating. And...the bridles I will be making, are where the macrame will come in(using paracord). This is a dapple gray hobby/stick horse I have finished for my daughter and am finishing up another one for my other daughter before moving on to make them for selling. They take time to make, but I can create so many kinds of horse patterns. So this should be fun. I still have to add the stick to this one, but I was too excited to share before I added it😁. As u can see in the one picture, the mouth can open for the bit on the bridle.

I haven't posted anything for a while, so I thought I'd better. I am still working on my stuff, but I am doing a bunch first before I post pictures. This will be a totally new twist. I am really enjoying this. It will still be a little while yet, though, before I post. So hang tight😉

I am starting to work on a whole new idea of a macrame piece. A creation of my own. Going to take me some time...Hoping I can pull it off. But this is going to be a new twist! Can't wait till I can show you this one. 😁 I'm excited about it!

This is just a notice to let you know that I am getting started out on my macrame creations once again. There will be some fun and new ideas being posted as I get them done. Hope you enjoy!

Just got another piece done and sold for a customer. A cat hammock like the last one, but a bit bigger base and different colors. This will be my last piece as I am going to take a break starting now and thru the summer. You might still see the odd piece I get done on here, but I will resume at a faster pace come fall again. Here are some pictures of the cat hammock.😊

Alrighty! Finally got this piece done. A cat hammock. Took some time to make, plus waiting time for supplies to get here, but its done. A mix of mustard yellow and navy blue, this piece measures about 53" from the top of the wood piece to the bottom of the yellow tassle, plus about another foot added to that including the hanging cord. The diameter of the ring used is 16 inches.

Alright! This one was another of my own creations, and made me almost want to quit it a few times as I tried to figure out what to do in certain spots. But here it is...a flying owl macrame plant holder. The pot size i used is a tapering pot that has a 6.5" diameter at the top and is 5.5"tall.
Pole - 28" long
Macrame - 24.5"w x 41"l.

So I have finally completed another piece. Took a bit as I had to kind of create it as I went, but here it is. A creature feature done off the suggestion of another lady following my page😊.
This one's measurements are:

Macrame - 46.5"w x 36"l

So here it is finally! This one is a creation of my own. It uses pure white cording and dyed denim blue cording. Has hand painted beads, and is hung on a poplar pole.
Measurements are:
Pole - 40.5"l
Macrame - 33"w x 32"l

Okay! Here is the EXTRA LARGE macrame piece I said was coming. This one has the beautiful ambience of lights run by a battery pack so you can hang it anywhere. It has a crocheted pouch to hold it in at the back. The switch has 3 options of off/on/timer.
This one is hung on an unpeeled birch pole.
Measurements are as follows:
Pole - 46.25" long that is close to 2 inches in diameter.
Macrame - 32.5" w x 46"l
