We are excited to announce an opportunity for you to support Fruita Little League while having access to one of the biggest music events of the year! We are seeking VOLUNTEERS for parking and traffic control shifts at the Country Jam Music Festival from June 20-22, 2024.

Please contact Kelly Mason via text or phone at 714-514-3587 to sign up for a shift. We will provide further details and instructions once you confirm your participation.

Fruita Little League tryouts are tomorrow, Tuesday March 12th! @ Little Salt Wash Park

Check in is from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

Tryouts will start at 5:30pm.

Please attend tryouts if your player is registered for any the following:

Baseball:
- Registered for Rookies, is league age 8, and wants to try out to "play up" in minors.
- Registered for Minors
- Registered for Majors

Softball:
- Registered for Minors, is league age 9, and wants to try out to "play up" in majors.
- Registered for Majors.

Its going to be a great season!!

Fruita Little League is looking for a few more girls to join our Jr/Sr Softball Division. If we can find a few more players that want to register, we will be able to make another team for this division!

The age range for this division is 13 through 16.

Fruita little league parents and families:

Spring tryouts will be held Tuesday March 12th!

Check in from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Tryouts will start at 5:30pm.

All players registered for minors and above are encouraged to try out to help balance the teams for a great season.

For those interested in playing up in a higher division:
Players are REQUIRED to try out if they wish to "play up" in higher division, according to these rules:

- Softball:
- 9 year olds must try out to play in majors
- Baseball:
- 8 year olds must try out to play in minors (these players would currently be registered for rookies)
- 10 year olds must try out to play in majors
- 11/12 year olds must try out to play in 50/70
- 13 year olds must try out to play in Jr/Sr

Any volunteers for our 50/70 game tonight at 5:30 at Salt Wash?

We are looking for a volunteer to ump our 50/70 game tomorrow, Thursday 9/7. If you or someone you know is available, please email [email protected] or message us.

Registration has been extended for every division except Minor Boys. If you have a player who you would like to sign up, please go to our website asap. I will close out divisions as we get them filled. Please pass the word along to any friends/family who may have players interested. Fall ball games start the week of August 21st and are Monday-Thursday.

The season will run mid August-October. Cost is $95 for all divisions. Games are Monday-Thursday nights. All divisions will interleague.
