FIDE President has appointed IM Sami Khader as the new Chairman of the FIDE Trainers' Commission. Khader has been a Councilor for the Commission since 2016, and during this time he has been a valuable contributor, demonstrating valuable managing and organisation skills.

“Our immediate plans include boosting the value of titles and developing the structure of FIDE Academies. We also plan to create a special online library, which will contain videos and PGN files of valuable lectures to be used by licensed TRG trainers”, said Sami.

I will rate every single item by itself :
1- Bus: very poor and does not reach the minimal level of safety, tires are almost less than 1 mm, no safety belts for passengers, and the toilet was not functioning, keep aside any entertainment provided. When you go for a 14 hours trip the bus has to have different conditions. However the driver was driving within the speed limit, almost during the whole trip, however at some parts he was exceeding the speed limit, I have the trip saved on my gps.
2- Schedule : on the internet there was no detailed schedule , I mean the clock schedule, or even printed and put in the bus or even at the reception of the so called hotel. Simply if you want to skip one of the visits, you can't catch up later. You don't know what time exactly you will be at a certain place, so if you do not want to visit a particular place you can't join later.
3- Hotel : in my opinion it should not be called a hotel, when you have lizards in your room, nothing functioning, as the toilet is leaking, tv is not even switching on, telephone in the room is not connected, the fridge is not even possible to open and the electric plugs are not well fixed in the walls. However the beds and towels were clean and tidy, but there were no room service thought out the entire accommodation smile emoticon
4- Group leaders: The bus will move from go bus at 10:00, the bus moved from somewhere else at 10:40, 40 minutes from my trip was deducted ! Then at the start of the trip, we were informed that everyone has a seat in the bus, and there was one person objecting about the seat, then this person was given a lesson on how to behave and obey the rules of the trip, however there were some people that either related or friends to the group leaders who could change their seats forward and backward all the way to Siwa. Corruption on a touristic trip !!! Later there was a big fight between one of the clients and probably the driver or somebody else outside the bus and then continued inside the bus, fantastic atmosphere to start a trip ! The biggest problem is keeping my ID with them for 4 days and when they took it, they did not inform me that this ID will stay with them the whole entire trip, I do not have any valid ID except this one, they knew it, and I tried my best to contact them in vain during the trip to get it, but I didn't succeed ! Of course when I knew that there will be no respect for the timings, I decided to hire a guide from Siwa and a driver to do all the trips without losing time unnecessarily, I didn't want to impose any pressure on any one, but I also did not want to always wait ! The night before departure I was suppose to sleep in the desert according to my arrangements after spending the whole day there and I asked about when the bus will leave, I was informed it was going to leave from the hotel at 09:00 am or from the market at 11:00, I didn't trust to come in time, so I decided to cancel this idea, and come late in the night back to be in the hotel, I only did this to get my ID. When you keep the ID of somebody, by law, you are revoking all his human rights ! At 08:45 I checked out paid my extras at the so called hotel, and was in the bus 08:55 but there was no sign of anyone, I asked the polite driver and he told me that he was informed the same as me and he should be ready to move at 09:00. At 09:25 came one of the group leaders, to my seat, in the mid of the bus, and trying to be funny, hey are you in this group? This guy gave me my room keys and his phone number at the check in, did he forget about me ? Of course not, he was either trying to be funny or was mocking me! I was rather expecting a sorry for the delay, or a welcome way of speech, ( at this moments I was never complaining about anything, just sleeping over it and trying to be polite, I always answered, I like to be alone, if I met any of the persons on the trip and asked me where are you ) of course I was already disgusted about the way of speaking, I asked where is my ID? He said yes yes we have it, and then disappeared, I assumed that he will bring it back, but that was not the case, and he did not give any explanations. The bus moved at 10:07 from the hotel !!!!! One hour and seven minutes later than the time I was told about. Later when we arrived at the market they said the bus will leave at 11:30, but it moved 12:04 !!! Delay delay delay everywhere !!!! When I was leaving the bus I went again to ask for the million time can I get my ID ? And then no, We have to keep it for security checks on the road !!!! In order to control my anger and un comfortability, I decided to go on, then he started to shout out loud and move his hands in the air. I asked him to lower his voice, he still continued ... I decided at this moment that enough is enough, I booked a limousine got to know that the company's address is in Alexanderia, I slept the night there, my lawyer came from Cairo and I filed a case. Everything was completed today, I signed all the papers and I was assured that this place will vanish within three months . Now going back to Cairo and having two things I. Front of my eyes : if you don't respect time, you don't respect anyone, neither yourself. Second thing : don't argue with a moron, he will bring you down to his level, then he will beat you by experience !
