My 1 wish for my birthday was to take Gav camping 🏕️
We’ve been trying to get out for weeks, but the weather was either rainy or super cold over night. Well, we were able to get out to our property on Saturday to show him our slice of heaven in CO, and experience our favorite thing to do together.
We had no idea how he was going to do.. Todd and I are such pros but adding a baby to the mix was a little daunting. Not to mention we have our camping bin on standby and can make it out the door with little packing.. adding a third brings twice the amount of stuff 😂
Gavin did AWESOME. He was clearly in his element and had the best time. He giggled through our hikes, fell asleep during our wildlife search at dusk (Todd’s gonna have to work on that one), and slept the best he has slept in a few weeks! Maybe that’s because of all the time outside and camping we spent while I was pregnant? Not sure, but, I literally couldn’t have asked for a better birthday with my boys. A trip I will never forget 🥹 I’m getting teary just writing this!
Do the hard things. Do the scary things. You will not regret it.

Thank you for making me a mama. Thank you for being patient and loving me while I navigate postpartum & supporting me in ways I didn’t know I needed. Thank you for making Gavin feel so happy and loved. Thank you for being a role model for our son Thank you for being our rock ✨I know I don’t say it nearly enough, but thank you for everything and thank you for being the best daddy. We love you more than words and I hope you always know how appreciated you are! Gav and I are so lucky to have you! 🫶🏼💙
