Wow, after all these weeks, I’m finally finished with my first batch of semi-tumbled stones through all four stages. It takes almost a week for each stage. Very time consuming but I love how they turn out. Not as rough as rough cut and not as perfectly smooth as full tumbled. I am having a hard time wanting to part with any of these beauties! If anyone is interested in any gem stones/minerals, get in touch with me through messenger or my Etsy Shop. I have to sort them and price them now. This is a hobby of mine and I just enjoy doing it very much. I enjoy watching the stones transform through the different stages. I hope everyone is having a blessed day❣️

Tye Dyes!

OMGosh!!! Today I received my Hippie Mystery Box -- I LOVE IT!!! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!! When I ordered, I added some of my personal preferences, like my favorite color, my favorite animal, hobbies . . . and everything in the box was perfect and specifically for me. Second tumble-Second grit. Looking good and only took two days on stage 2. I’m learning about the different hardnesses of Gem Stones and crystals. These are a softer stone. It’s actually made from lava. This is Mahogany Obsidian. It’s a protective stone. It’s a very powerful stone entergenticly and vibrates at a very high level of healing. Also, This powerful grounding stone works to bring thoughts and ideas into action for the sole purpose of personal growth.
Very interesting that it would show up in my life now in a very interesting way. If anyone is interested, I will be posting all my shipments this coming week in the store. All will be affordable prices for those on a budget. I’m not looking to get rich. I’m looking to share with others what I am passionate about and what I believe in and learn and grow through the process. I’m not a business person and I’m trying to put this out there for those who could benefit. I am learning as I go and making some bloopers that I can laugh at. Thanks for supporting my mission.

So, I was browsing Etsy and I came across a rare type of Obsidian! I can’t remember the name right now and have to search for it but I realized I had a decent amount I threw in my rock garden last year when my neighbor gave it to me! I’m going to tumble it and shine it up and leave some rough!

And, the polishing stage is finished, that’s a total of four stages in the tumbler. Took about three weeks instead of four. Will see if I can do semi tumbled in even less time this next round. My huge Gem Stone delivery is tomorrow! Happy Dance! The grits should be delivered too and then fire up the tumbler!

I tried a new method last night-ice dying. About time to rinse. Will show results.

Who all loves Gem stones, crystals, and mineral stones? I have a large shipment coming any day now and it’s a large variety! What’s your favorite? I have a hard time picking just one because I just love them all!
Currently, I am drawn to rose quartz.

I will have semi tumbled stones available soon. Right now, I am on the second tumbling and have a third and fourth to do. It can take up to four weeks to tumble. I’ve cut that time in half with semi-tumbled.

I’m still working on the video of a sneak peak into the mystery box, it will be finished soon.

I have not forgotten about the give away. Only two people participated and one of them has their settings to private so I don’t know who it was. Sorry that was a bust. I’ll try it again when we have more people to participate.

UPDATE:
I finally got the Boutique up and running on Etsy. I have listed a few things that are available right now and I have shipments coming in for future items that will be offered. I purchased a rock tumbler and I’m enjoying the process and I have found that I really like crystals and gem stones semi-tumbled. I will be adding them to the shop in the next few days along with essential oil blends and all natural fragrances that smell amazing and are medicinal. I will have beautiful perfum bottles available for the essential oil fragrance. I will have incense of all kinds, blessed anointing oil, and I am getting some Holy water from the Jordan River in Jerusalem! I will be putting together a Christian mystery gift box. I will have items for dreads. Junk Journal kits, stickers, Painted garden rocks, sea shells, pocket inspiration coins, at reasonable prices to name a few😊

In the next couple days I will be posting a sneak peak video into the Hippie mystery boxes so y’all can get an idea of what they are all about.

Hippie Mystery Box! Loaded!

Hello Kindred! The Hippie Mystery box all started years ago when I found my joy and passion treasure hunting, I called it. I love a good deal and frequent Salvo, Good Will, yard sales, clearance racks and hunt for things that cost next to nothing. After having extra money from the stimulus, I ventured out treasure hunting and found a golden spot that I hit once a week. A couple months later, I accumulated an obscene amount of treasure. One day, I had friends over, I was giving them this and that when my daughter said, “it’s like a store in here”. That reminded me when I was volunteering and was planning on opening a hippie shop but it fell through, the light bulb went off, how about an online store? Echo’s Cove was born and the mystery hippie box soon followed. I love giving gifts. I love treasure hunting. And, I love getting/sending mail. Everything was falling into place! Out of the abundance of my treasure, I was able to fill Ten 11 3/4 x 8 x 4 3/4 Box’s stuffed full of gift wrapped items I was able to find for next to nothing. These aren’t cheap items either. Everything is New or Like New. Everything is regular sized items. There is a little of this and a little of that. A big variety. I am a hippie/BoHo chick, So that is my taste and what I’m drawn to.
